First yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
Good to see you back on the channel Mani! MIssed your vids over the past years! Looking forward to watching more excellent and detailed training work ๐ Best of luck with the training!
One armer is back ๐
Just about weight Martin Keller and Emil both gain a lot of weight and realized that it was more sustainable and made both hardest boulder ever
Adam ondra said also that gaining muscles made him improved over the years so
There is a balance to be healthy and not skinny but muscular and lean eating enough calories lead to more power and sustainable performance ๐
For bodybuilding muscles volumes are not helping in term of extra weight and make your grip strengh weaker but natural muscles are maybe your natural power genetics no need to fight it ๐
"It's always better to be light weight and have less muscle than have more muscle and be hevier." I think that by this you mean to be in the leaner side of the normal BMI for you and your body than to be at the hevier side of the normal BMI. But these days (fortunately so), the weight has become quite sensitive topic in climbing as I'm sure you're aware off, and hence I would be a little hesitant to leave that kind of statement hanging without discussing it in a bit more detail. REDs is no joke and everyone in a sport where strength to weight ratio is as critical as in climbing should be aware of the potential health consequences of constantly getting too few calories.
P.s. I know BMI is also controversial as the optimal numbers aren't the same for everybody, but I used it for the lack of better term.
A come back is really hard. Glad you are back in it again! Go go go!
