  12. How many timelines were we dealing with? How many times has Cheng Xiaoshi died? If you get stuck in the new timeline after the 12 hours how many times (how many years) has Lu Guang been living in these timelines? So many questions.

    In this episode we are told they are first years un Univerity, but in S1 they have graduated University.

    Cheng Xiaoshi tell Lu Guang to save THEM, Who is them? We are shown Qiao Ling bleeding outas well as a brown coat and a police badge on the ground, who we can guess is Li Xiao, the cop from S1 & S2. So, CX passes his power to LG to save them.

    The journal that Lu Guang is referring to seems to have past events listed to the exact time of the events and the journal is written in Latin. There are a couple of red covered books we see – in the ed Cheng Xiaoshi is holding a red covered booked with "Shakespeare's Sonnets," Lu Guang's Journal has a red cover and in this end credit scene we see Liu Xiao (hat man) with a red covered book. If you rewatch the OP from season 2, there is also a red book in the "claw machine" with the pink bear toy. What is with all the red books.

    In this episode there is an emphasis not just on Lu Guang's watch but clocks as well. In the opening some of the clocks even appear on different walls in the photo shop – on the wall beside the dark room door and then above the door. Is the fact that clock keeps moving an issue with continuity and the animation or is it indicating separate timelines?

    My quick theory is that Liu Xiao and the Gunman are part of an organization that knows that the powers. Maybe they sent Lu Guang to steal or get Cheng Xiaoshi's power but he wound up befriending CX instead, saving him and altering the timeline. The Gunman came to punish LG for changing the timeline.

    And yes I believe CX's parents had some sort of power(s). Maybe they left to protect CX or the Organization kidnapped them or murder them and that us why they disappear.
