  1. Congrats to your fiancée on her new car! With all the credits and everything you had it is hard to justify buying anything else. At least you didn't buy something stainless… LOL The Y is the most practical vehicle Tesla sells right now.

  2. Congratulations! I wish I was you I could use a more compliant suspension mine is a Fremont built 2023 Model Y Long Range AWD purchased in Vancouver Canada just before Tesla Canada switch to Gigafactory Shanghai with the inferior LG smaller capacity battery pack and with a lot poorer charging and discharge specs. Panasonic rules!

  3. lol we essentially got the same car, picked up 12/24!

Stealth grey, white interior LR RWD with tow – this color combo feels classy

Got a similar deal with 3760 demo disc and 7500 EV tax credit and loyalty 0%APR

Sold my 2023 model 3, but it made too much sense since we have a second model 3 in the garage already

First impressions, way more comfortable than the Ys reputation suggests. Rented 2021 and 2022 model Ys in past and they rattled all over

I think you bought at a great time..new fades away, good deals last much longer

  4. So did you end up getting like a total of $25k-$30k discount off this car? $7500 federal tax credit + $3700 inventory discount + $1000 free tow hitch discount + $1000 loyalty discount + like $15k in Tesla Cash Credits (and +3 months free FSD & Supercharging).

  5. Congrats on the new Tesla. As they say, once driving a Tesla, always a Tesla. I have the same model but in the AWD format being that it’s better for towing and I am driving in 5 months of snow. For the rest, enjoy it and have fun !

  6. Congrats on all fronts, Branden—wishing you both a lifetime of happiness! Also, thanks for the idea about using Tesla gift cards. When redeeming them, is the process to include them at car purchase time straightforward?

  7. quite honestly caught me off guard on this decision as you were understandably bitter on the precious Y charge issues. Im glad you stayed with Tesla as I enjoy your candid input in your videos. Enjoy!

  8. Good job Branden on pulling off what appears to be a great transaction on a car for your fiancé. You’ll like the way this one charges. I picked one up in early Nov with something like $3700 plus $500 off sticker, $7500 rebate, and financed the rest, minus a down payment, at 0%. Pretty happy so far.

  9. In a world where money is an object, your wife would have just taken your (18 months old) Model Y when you purchased the refreshed version some months from now. Considering she barely drives it, the bad charging situation was a non-issue. Also, trading in a purchased car that lost massive resale value after 1.5 years on the road to get a lease on a basically identical car, leaving you with no car at all at the end of said lease only makes sense for a YT channel.

The only real winner in this equation : Tesla. These referral codes are distorting reality for so many YouTubers… Jordan @ OOS and Brandon are good examples of that. Kinda sad, really.

  10. The people on X who exist to whine about your charging critiques of the 4680 Model Y are going to have an aneurysm, because you've just punched a hole in their "He hates Tesla!" belief system. 🤣

  11. Congrats on the new car bro. You sounding like out of spec Dave when he says I bought his wife a model Y he bought himself a model Y 😂 and I will do the same when I buy my wife a model y 😂

  12. Just traded in my 4680 MY for the LR RWD like you. Holy moly. What a range bump and charging bump. First time seeing over 200KW. Definitely worth every penny at zero percent interest. HW4 too.

  13. Congrats! We just picked up a Stealth Grey with a white interior 25 MY LR RWD for my wife a week and a half ago. She absolutely loves it. It’s funny, it took me 3+ years to convince my wife that I should get an EV. I got an Ultra Red 7-seater with a white interior MY LR AWD at the end of October. Within two months, she was convinced to get one too.

With current federal and Colorado incentives, inventory discounts, and referral credits, we saved a combined $33,000!
