  1. I think I would have built on top, but also have super prioritized the destruction of the dam to release water IF it got too high, but also prioritized getting dynamite unlocked so you could at least make a channel down in that area so that you would have 2 levels down draining water, because at the top of the area it drains out, will only save the highest land…
I would now up top, prioritizing getting dynamite built over in the second district, get water pumps going there because there's quite a deep area to get water from, and ofc farm the area, and hopefully the mix of water pumping constantly and tons of water will allow you to keep the water levels kind of lower until you get dynamite and you're able to cut the drainage area down 2 levels (one will still flood your old farms and things)

  2. just so you know RCE, you dont need to build stuff up to touch. beavers can build adjacent to any cliff, regardless of height. you would have not needed the levies at the barriers.

at least i remember it being so.

  3. Not sure if you realize, Matt, but a 19 hour work day is the ideal early game setting. I typically use 19 hour days until I reach a point where I'm building QOL buildings. End game is usually 12-14 hour days.

  4. You forgot you can unlock platforms with the amount of points you have, a lot cheaper to build compared to dams. Make platforms for your buildings, the green of the island for food, the rest on platforms 2 higher than water.

  5. If you make the paths as straight as possible rather than twisting and turning around corners, you can reach further. As for the debris blockage at the map drainage point, you didnโ€™t need the extra layer of levee and stairs, beavers can construct/demolish 1 tile up. Multiple sets of stairs can take more resources than just a few platforms to go straight across a ditch

  6. Curious how many beavers it would take pumping water to offset the amount of water being produced by water sources. Maybe do a myths of timberborners like city skyline ๐Ÿ˜…

  7. beaver town…beavers ''never thought i be concerned about to much water… but ouer glorious engineer sure be PLANING AHEAD he is an engineer after all….
…..day 30 ish or such beavers HADE ENOUGH! 24 houer work day and yet did mister engineer raise the pumps before they floded ? no… did he send resources to the dams for the fields before they flooded ? no…. just sending the beavers in forced march to another town to destroy some natural debris… that still mean the fields get flooded and pumps clogged EVEN IF REMOVED! …,,.hmmmm QUICK! bring the pitch forks! bring the torches! an architect imposter has obviously cut of ther loathed but respected engineers face! impersonating the engineer while pushing its architect agendas! ๐Ÿ˜‰
