A sand tiger shark bit a surfer at the beach at Smith Point County Park on Wednesday morning. The surfer suffered a four-inch gash on his leg from an apparent tiger shark, County Executive Steve Bellone said. After the attack, lifeguards closed the beach to swimmers for a few hours but later let people back in the water. The crews are patrolling the water using paddle boards, personal watercraft, and aerial drones, officials said.

You take sharks out of the ocean and I promise you nothing will change other than no sharks in ocean.
