Shai Gilgeous-Alexander tallied 31 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists for the Thunder in the losing effort, his league-leading 34th 30+ point game of the season. The Pistons improve to 6-40 on the season, while the Thunder snap a 5-game winning streak and fall to 32-14.

Jalen Duren joins Andre Drummond as the only players in Pistons franchise history to put up 20+ points and 20+ rebounds in a game at the age of 20 years or younger.

With his 30th point of the game, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander joined 2013-14 Kevin Durant as the only Thunder players to have 1400 points in their first 45 games of the season.

Gilgeous-Alexander also joins Michael Jordan (5x) and Rick Barry (1974-75) as the only players with 1400 points and 100 steals through their first 45 games of a season.

  1. Truly a bizarre game. Detroit isn't remotely comparable to the Thunder but this game just goes to show you that there are just games where a team will play out of their minds and can't seem to miss. Still difficult to believe OKC lost to them. Detroit had 5 wins before this game.

  2. Chet is gonna be an all-nba type player, but this kind of game is why I don’t think he’ll win ROY. For as good as he is he’ll disappear for long stretches of games. I get that there’s a luxury to being the 3rd leading scorer on the team, but sometimes he’s just downright passive on the court.

  3. It's the fact that Monty has Benched Ivey the entire season but choose to play Hayes… Didn't play Bagely that is now averaging 16 and 8 but will never give Wiseman opportunities… Williams is the problem his player rotation is not cool…
