Friends, a very blessed and happy Easter to you all! The Resurrection of Jesus is the be-all and the end-all of the Christian faith. If Jesus didn’t rise from the dead, then all bishops, priests, and Christian ministers should go home and get honest jobs. If he did rise from the dead, then he’s the full manifestation of God, and he must be the center of your life. In light of that, I’d like to look at three great lessons that follow from this strange and decisive truth of the Resurrection.

We're seeing the resurrection in light of the crucifixion. Bishop Robert Barron, how often would Mary's first question at the Annunciation, How can it be?, have been repeated by Mary, the Apostles, and by the disciples? When Mary held her sons dead body, How can this be? When St. Mary of Magdalene and St. Peter first saw the empty tomb, How can it be? When the resurrected Jesus appeared "in the breaking of the bread" on the road to Emmaus, How can this be? Isn't this because Our Lord God is always here? If Jesus, the Son of God, was ever once here, then, wouldn't God's presence always be with us? For is it not "in the breaking of the bread" that, Christ Jesus in His body, is Himself present at every Mass?

This sermon gives me hope once again. My parents have passed away recently and it breaks my heart the most. I thought my life is over and I'd rather just die. But yeah it's true that there's something beyond this world and death is not to be afraid of. Jesus Christ is my bestfriend and I am living life with him.

I believe Bishop to address the youths question about God is to tell them that they have a Soul, which is Supernatural and then all discussions will stem from that. Then the reality of Death then in their minds they will ask the question, how then will I always be prepared? God bless Bishop you are my spiritual director across the miles.
