  1. Easily his worst album to date and I honestly went in not expecting much. But still there was four to five tracks that were good, if even that. I actually talked earlier with my oldest nephew, who just turned 17 earlier this month about it and he actually agreed that the album was pretty 🗑️

We both said on a lot of tracks it didn’t even really sound like Kanye was trying and how his vocals on lot of them sounded so horrible. Also how there was quite a few tracks that Ty Dolla $ign easily outperformed him.

I fvck with Bump J and his verse wasn’t bad, but honestly it could have been a little better and I maybe in the minority of people not really fvcking with the title track. I am hoping Vol. 2 and 3 are better, but at the same time not holding my breath.

Speaking of other Chicago Hip-Hop artists. I don’t know if you ever really listened to him as much, but former Kanye collaborator and one time really close friend, Rhymefest. Put out a project called, James & Nikki: A Conversation. That just came out on Friday and is a lot better. That you should really check out.

  2. This was an excellent un biased and fair review with a thoughtful breakdown of the tracks that I genuinely appreciated compared to some other takes out there (cough cough! fantano cough cough!)That said, I feel like three mics is verrry generous…this was trash to me. Maybe I just can't separate the art from the artist, even if I could though, with some decent production here and there aside, this album sucked and it has got to be the worst vocal performance Kanye has ever given us. The flows, delivery and verses were just ass throughout…basic immature content and rampant antisemitism definitely didn't help…its just really too much to try to look past at this point. If I want to feel offended or uncomfortable with content I'll go listen to a bizarre album where at least I don't have to take it seriously lmao. Crazy to say this… but I think I'm just done with Ye at this point (outside of maybe him producing tracks for another artist.) Musical genius or not…I just can't support this man anymore.1 1/2 mics…for a few dope features and decent beats.
