  1. I think ppl forget that hiphop isn't just punchlines and words…it's deeply rooted in our heritage as Black Americans. Drake will never know what it's like to struggle in this country as a black man…this is the true essence of hiphop idgaf what none of yall say

  2. These people make me laugh. If you want to know who listens to kdot, Kdot has sold twice as many records as Cole. Kdot just came off a record solo tour. Not opening up for Drake. Despite all of that, this situation isn't about numbers.

  3. Cole is done. If he stepped out of the way before the diss track I would have let him rock but called him a punk. But have you ever seen a man throw a punch and then quit? It’s the lowest form of cowardice. If you respect that then you need to call your music something other than hip hop

  4. This Video is on point. Especially concerning TPAB's impact. My only correction is that D'Angelo's Black Messiah came out December 2014, a few months before TPAB… BUT… TPAB's Impact is STAMPED!!! After TPAB, we got Solange's "A seat at the table", Anderson Paak's "Malibu", and Childish Gambino's "Awaken, My Love!"… IMPACT!!!

  5. Prince you bring up a great point about big Krit. I’m from New York but I love southern music. Krit is criminally underrated. His forever is a mighty long time album is a classic for sure. Hes also done so many underrated projects. He did get screwed over by def jam and never took off like he should’ve. He should have the same recognition kdot and Cole have. He has that southern conscious flow mixed with braggadocio. Krits lyrical ability is right up there with kdot and Cole. He killed that 1 train song off asaps first album
