  1. John Campea can’t fathom how anyone could watch ANDOR and NOT like it?.. Well, I for one also CAN’T fathom how the fuck Mr. Campea could feel Cobra Kai was straight up “BAD” (in his words) after just 2 episodes (both of which are AWESOME by the way!) Oh, and Mr. Campea also likes the new Karate Kid movie MORE than the original…… Yeah, nuff said.

  2. SOLO was a great one-shot story for non-Star Wars fans like me. Rogue on was simple too, but Solo was easier to get into. As a non Star Wars diehard, I always thought we could get more self-contained stories. New stories within the same story world.

    Maybe it's just me.

  3. I think I would still offer Taika the job. Just let him know Marvel is looking for something a little more serious or more balanced. If he is game, great! If not or he thinks it is too restricting, separate due to creative differences. Not big deal.

I think Love and Thunder had some good storylines, especially with Jane Foster. But some of the silliness got in the way. I think I like things funny, but not silly. And Thor doing a Van Damme was a line crossed… hahaha…

Maybe he should direct She-Hulk since you and others said it was not funny enough?

  4. Why not a Rated R 'Thor: Blood & Gore' ? Thats a fresh perspective. 😅

I too found 'Solo' an enjoyable movie. Dont get the hate for it. And when you consider the hectic mess during production, it actually turned out remarkably good.

  5. I really liked Thor love and Thunder, I don't rewatch movies in the theaters and I saw Thor 4 twice in the same weekend.

Chris Hemsworth likes to listen to the fans so these comments make sense. I just hope they don't get rid of most of the comedy (of course they are going have Marvel jokes) but I'd be fine with a different tone

  6. Dude, it's not like Chris discovered fire. The stories of Ragnarok and Love and Thunder are basically good BUT the problem with Taika as a director is THE WAY HE TELLS THOSE STORIES. Too much sillyness in most of the characters and that's so unnecessary. There's a difference between entertaining movies and good movies and frankly the last two Thor movies are more entertaining than good, but the entertaining aspect is too present throughout almost the entire in both cases. Thor can make us laugh, no problem with that, but turning him into a funny character, along with other characters?? Nothing against Taika, but I don't think his tone and how he tells a story it's proper for a character like Thor. Now, I now Thor 2 doesn't have too many fans but I believe THAT was the correct tone for a Thor movie

  7. 10:23 Believe it or not, the point at which Thor is left of as a stepdad at the end of Love and Thinder, is a perfect foundation for a fresh strat for the Character that would incorporate the Ballance the Grittiness and silliness that comes in Parenthood as a God, there is potential there to make this last Thor a very emotional ride, if it focuses on the difficulties and joys that comes when you're a single dad raising a teenage daughter.

  8. Making him dumb as fuck and bumbling his way through every situation was the worst part they did to the character. The tone of the film was the 2nd biggest mistake, it was like watching Thor go from one SNL sketch to another for 2hrs.

  9. My biggest issue with Thor now is that Thor is not progressing like where is his magical belt happy referred to? Like Thor needs to be displayed on a power scale the way DC did with Black Adam and I hate MARVEL when it comes to OP characters like Thor that they feel like on screen they have to drastically dumb him down and at this stage in the game we need Thor to be Thor the god g thunder not a goof

  10. The most egregious of silliness was the infinity cone store. Like….people disappeared and Thanos forever changed the planet. And we making ice cream shops about it.

  12. Taika Waititi struck a good balance between the comedy and drama in Thor Ragnarok? This was the movie where their entire planet was destroyed and, rather than giving the scene a moment of seriousness to mourn, they made a joke and it was never mentioned again right?

  13. I love Love and Thunder. I would love a serious Thor movie, but I don't feel Chris H is a great serious actor. If they want to go serious, then perhaps go with a different actor?

  14. I agree about thor how he’s just a big joke and no one is threatened by him anymore. I also feel the same about Drax. In the first GOTG even one was scared of him but he was still funny. Now (and has been for a while) is just a joke.

  15. I may be one of rare few by the sounds of it but I loved Solo. I think it was one of, if not the best Star Wars project since the original and prequel movies. I am not a fan of rogue one it had one good scene the scene with Darth Vader. Also I am not a fan of any of the shows besides Kenobi. As for the sequel trilogy I don’t hate them as much as most fans, but no question they could have done a billion times better given the right structure and people in charge.

  16. Thor love and thunder was exceptional well . I loved it . Don’t care about idiots who complaint about everything without giving reasons to back it up . I believe taika will come back to do Thor . He’s thee man and only director who makes Thor who he is . Sorry John but I disagree with you here

  17. Joe and Anthony Russo are the mvps
Of the MCU I’m sorry they have done the best with spiderman, cap, Thor, iron man… all of them… marvel and feige need to stop being weird and get these guys in house full time

  18. I think a reason people aren’t so forgiving with Taika is because the major errors of the movie weren’t simple mistakes. They seemed to be mistakes directly tied to his narcissism in a way. He inserted himself a bit too much into the movie. And he seems a bit weird in the behind the scenes footage too.
Idk respect the guy big time… but I can understand why people want him as far away from thor as possible
