Buildings in India not those of wealth but citizen housing was built by just as corrupt firms and bribe giving and taking as one finds in Pakistan or Russia and Ukraine corrupt bone infrasructure and all government financed programs.
Darn few of Indias government and municipal or high multi storied buildings meet any earthquake prevention codes.
If there were any requirements they were just ignored and official inspectors bribed.

I watched thousands of Turkish video on Earthquake and read lakhs of comments i didn't find single video or comment of thanking indian or india help with 250 personal and 135 tons humanitarian aid on their channel. Most of comments have mentioned Azerbaijan, Israel, Greece, Uzbekistan,…. Even pakistan who only send 2 flight with 62 personal otherhand india send 6 flight. After recovery they will again sing brotherhood with islamic countries and abuse india 🇮🇳.

Japan s buildings are earthquake. Proof and they are. Very very strict about this in a 20 story building the. Buildings sway like at sea but don’t fall down. Same as the houses which rattle and windows do explode but all the gas gets automatic shutoff so. Japan is marvelous

There are so many Hotels in Turkey. It is unbelievable that those people in the affected areas still have to spend the nights in the cold.

When I was in India in 2000 in Hyderabad Hi-Tech City I saw an office building being constructed as I passed every day in my Taxi going and coming from my job.
