The slog of the 2022 NFL season is just about over. The final pieces are being put in place to prepare for the upcoming playoffs. However, before we go there, there are plenty of loose ends to cover up in this great quest. Some teams are resting up for the final push. Some are fighting for their lives. Others are merely going through the motions in order to regroup for the cold embrace of the offseason.

Either way, this is Week EIghteen of the NFL season, and the final edition of Sportsball for 2022 (and January 2023). The Haters Guide is next, but for the meantime: More rambling!

  2. And now Mike Williams has a back fracture and is out 2-3 weeks. Good job brandon staley hope playing starters in a meaningless game (and losing said game anyway) was worth it. He might be playing for his job these playoffs

  3. I don't like that they're giving the Chiefs than the number one seed. The bills beat them earlier this year so they would own the tiebreaker. Yes I know the Chiefs have one more win than the bills but they both have the same number of losses and I'm pretty certain if the demar situation didn't happen the bills would have beat the Bengals. I think the bills got cheated by the Chiefs being given the number one seed in spite of the fact that the Bill's already beating them just because the Chiefs happened to win one more game because the bills were not able to finish a game.

  4. During that Jaguars game I was screaming in full on tears just sobbing hoping they would pull it out. I had no personal rooting interest for these teams but because of Uche I was just adamant the jags must win. When they pulled it off I broke down in happy tears for about an hour. Jacksonville had a 13th man up above #For77

  5. dak Prescott is inconsistent at best. he is a good qb but he is not consistent at all. Cooper rush went out there early season and took the cowboys to win after win and then the inconsistent happened again.

  6. As a Lions fan, I have had mixed opinions on MCDC at various points in the past (0-10-1 start last season, Patriots game and poor defense this year), but after the finish, I feel VERY confident in MCDC's leadership.
