This was made on my PS5 in the creative software Dreams.

Here’s a scene I made in Dreams on my PS5, inspired by the work of Lorenzo Drago, an environment artist who made an incredibly realistic train station in UE5. It’s become a thing for me to see how far I can push the Dreams engine, and this is definitely one of the scenes I’m most proud of so far. It’s not exactly photo-real, but I think the detail level is really good and I’m constantly surprised by the versatility and power of the Dreams engine. It’s pretty crazy to think that all of this is running on, and made on, PS4 software.

In this version of the scene, I’ve used the new sticker tech that allows you to project text and text boxes onto surfaces. Text boxes can have a texture, and therefore stickers can be used for texture projection. This can be done across single elements or whole groups, even across all of your scene. Very powerful stuff that I’m pretty much using in all of my scenes now to break the repetition of cloned Dreams sculpts.

Let me know what you think of this scene, and of Dreams, in the comments, and make sure to subscribe for Dreams examples and tutorials.

  1. I poked around it last night in edit mode for a bit. Really fun and informative to get to pick up and look all over your work like that. Thanks for making it remixable. Also wanted to report base ps4 handled that well. Idk about performance on play mode tho.
