Storyline
That day I woke up in my house, completely unaware that an amazing journey awaited me. Everything was as usual – I did my exercises, washed my face, had breakfast and got ready for work. But as soon as I left the house, the weather started to change. The sky turned grey and the air was so humid that my breath turned into steam.
I decided it was just a normal autumn day, so I went for a walk. However, it started to rain. At first it was light and almost imperceptible, but with every minute it became stronger and stronger. In a few minutes I was standing in a real downpour.
I had no choice but to go home. But when I entered the house, I realised that I didn’t want to stay here either. Then I decided to go on my most unusual journey – to go to a misty village, about which I had heard many stories from friends and acquaintances.
This village was shrouded in fog and it always rained there. Many people said that there you could hear distant thunderclaps, which could be heard even at a distance of many kilometres. I decided that I should definitely go there and see everything with my own eyes.
Getting ready for the trip, I put on my warmest and waterproof clothes, took an umbrella and a torch in case I had to go in the dark. I left the house and headed towards the village.
At first the road was quite easy: I walked on the tarmac and it was business as usual. But the further I got away from the town, the more my surroundings changed. The air became more humid, and I began to feel cold. Dark clouds appeared on the horizon and the wind became stronger.
When I finally reached the village, it was exactly as I had imagined it to be, shrouded in thick fog and drenched in rain. It was very quiet, and only the distant rumblings of thunder broke the silence.
The villagers were friendly and welcoming. They told me about their lives, how they were used to the rain and fog, and how they enjoyed this quiet and peaceful way of life.
After spending a few days in this amazing village, I returned home. It had been one of the most extraordinary journeys of my life, and I was glad that I had been able to see such extraordinary beauty with my own eyes.
