  1. I really wish they had just stolen the idea of furniture placement from animal crossing, or even just had a option for grid layout and an option for overhead view. Having to do things as they are is so difficult, it's frustrating. Also for rune ability, would water shot work well? It's a single straight line. You'd have to be careful to not shoot anything overlapping, but it's very precise at least!

  2. Is there no option in the furniture's menu just to destroy it instead of destroying it with weapons/rune abilities? I feel like that would make it easier

  3. They could take a leaf off ACNH's book on the decoration mechanics honestly. Top-down view and the ability to push and pull furnitures just like you do irl makes precise placement easier and having furnitures next to each other rly helps ties the whole room together, making each room feels more functional than being a collection of furnitures haphazardly clumped together in a rectangle space.

  4. They should have made it similar to AC Happy Home Paradise where you can show an above view and place with accordance to the gridlines. I REALLY want a quality of life update with fixing this crap

  5. glad there is a trick for this. It makes me sad whenever I see a character's home with their perfectly aligned kitchen while mine is spaced out all weirdly.

  6. Thank. GOD. I would spend half the in-game day just trying to appease my OCD with this STUPID furniture placement system. Yeah, RF4 wasn't perfect either, but at least I could place stuff together and save some space. Hopefully this trick will help my room look half-decent ;_;

  7. This is my first rf game, but I've played tons of similar sim games that didn't have this problem, and when they show all your neighbors with perfectly aligned kitchen counters that go right to the wall of course people are going to be frustrated when they can't achieve that same look. Like, why would they even make the player's like that? Sure, use the extra space for designing the objects, but cut it off for the actual game. You can snap to the edges; it's not that hard for these fairly simple object shapes, even with cleanup time.

  8. This is so helpful, thank you!! I actually found that using the spell Water Laser, makes it incredibly easy to just break a single piece of furniture. Since it's a spell you can easily control the direction of.

  9. The thing that annoys me is how you have a maaaaassive gap between the wall and appliances… because of it, the fireplace looks silly… Personally, I gave up on designing my home, the large room is still empty lol.

  10. I wish I didn't need to use so many princess points for other quests. For 5000 princess pts. you can just put all the cooking stations together. I do not understand the problem with placing things against the wall? Lots of room but weird furniture placement.

  11. This video made me way to happy šŸ¤£ I'm a huge perfectionist so it begs the heck out of me that furniture has to be placed so awkwardly, kind of wish they had a Animal crossing like system to make things easier.

  12. Thanks, this video was super helpful šŸ˜ƒ

    I'm currently rearranging everything, and I realized something after experimenting with this trick; I found that chopping a piece of furniture with the Axe (Farm Tool) is really handy for destroying a single piece of furniture, without breaking other things around it šŸ˜‰

  13. I just finished the story, and now I'm trying to fill my house with furnitures. But damn, this is frustrating!! The gap between the walls and the furnitures makes me mad!! šŸ˜†

  14. this is really useful honestly. The furniture placement is really the only complaint I have, I'm still in early game so lag hasn't been too bad though I also play handheld so I don't know if that plays a part.

  15. i just grinded like hell to accumulate and pay 5000points for the all in one perk thinking it would combine all kitchen furniture into a kitchenette. and after a mental breakdown, am here because this shit takes up way too much space for literally no reason and it looks ugly as hell :'(

  16. The furniture aspect of this game drives me absolutely insane. Not only the gaps, but not being able to touch the wall. Like… WHY???? I can tolerate pretty much everything else but this is driving me crazy. But hey at least it's not as bad as Story of Seasons where you can't even rotate furniture at all.
