This Tears of the Kingdom trick/exploit has been known for awhile but I decided to share it with you anyway! This trick allows you to get Mineru at the very beginning of the game without needing ten hearts. This is a very easy sequence break to do in Tears of the Kingdom and it works in every version!

You do need the paraglider first. Otherwise when you try to start the quest, it'll stop you.

I beat Gannon without mineru the first time because I didn’t know there was another sage, I just beat the robot boss with bomb arrows and didn’t think that hard about it
I do this in my casual all main quests speedrun route but this setup looks so much easier. I’m gonna have to use it!
Don't forget to activate Regional Phenomena, or Mineru's head will tell you to come back later.
I accidentally skipped the whole ring ruins quest and thunderhead isles…I went to the Rabella Wetlands skyview tower and glided over to dragon head island because I wanted to know what was over there in the storm clouds. Anyway imagine my surprise to open a door and damage ten hearts and then see an ancient mask waiting for me. I thought it was a piece of armor but I started a main quest with 11 hearts and two temples completed.

I have over 200 hours in this game and have never even heard of mineru I don't even know what it is
I skipped the quest and the door door by marking the specific point on my map and flying to it on my hover bike and then hydro clipping through the door.
i usually just use a map market and a glider and go off the side of dragonhead isle!
I did not know you could just dunk the wood into the balloon basket. Great tip in itself.
I accidentally activated mineru's quest on my first totk gameplay. She was my first sage and i was only strolling around the map when i bumped to her quest. 😂 It was fun having her as a first sage though.

WRONG. You can not get her right after the great sky island. When you try to activate the shown pedestal, the game will tell you that you get a feeling the time isnt right. You have to at the very least get the paraglider first. I dont know about other requirements.

I actually did this on accident. It wasn't early game but I was goofing around and saw the electric islands on the map and thought I wonder what's up there and basically did this exact thing

I didn’t even know who mineru was I just saw a bunch of cool clouds in the sky and took the lightning as a challenge got her early
Be usefull for a 209 percent speedrun or a any%
Bruh…this would have been so helpful to know like two days ago…I flew up there via airbike with four full battery guages and just brute forced my way in via Hover Stones…in the damn rain and fog. 😅😅😅
I got 10 hearts really quick and accidentally found the Flying Lightning island. But cheesing to get her even earlier is better.

Mineru was my third sage. I stumbled on the 10 heart door when I had 8 hearts, grinded my way to 10 and started the quest out of curiosity. I didn't know it would lead to a sage, and I didn't know I was getting her early. This trick you've shown would be great for a second play through!
Honestly tho getting her early would make a lot of the early game more fun, suddenly you don't need weapons to get by you can just fuse to Mineru

I did all the shrines, and i mean all of them before story progression, so i had all the shrines beside the dragon island cause of poor visibility. I was, i guess u can say WAY into late game there

Correction: You can’t actually interact with the Mineru mask until you talk to Purah (I can’t remember if it’s the paraglider trigger or getting the main quest trigger form her). I did a playthrough where I beat the game without touching the surface and the mask just said something like “Your heart tells you that you aren’t ready for this” or something.

I just rushed 40 shrines and got here first, and yes she is more fun when you get her first, including a mech battle with the Yiga.
I find her too clunky to use. Never have her out
