  1. Is it really all that bad for the fields to be flooded at this time of year? Most perennial or bi-annual crops are dormant and the rest of the fields not ready to be planted for some time. The fresh silt from the river and washing away of toxins might even add to soil quality for a few years.

  2. Mountains are also loaded with natural springs that wake up with rain and they can run indefinitely, we have a few that run year round (those spots completely broke roads up in our county) mountain runoff can be fierce.

  3. At least the water is filling up all the reservoirs that were made during the drought. Oh no wait, no one built anything… Typical democrats. Whine and cry about the restrictions and prepare NOTHING for when it does rain.
