I think the UI looks like a lot of video poker machines, and that's the problem it really has, but they should just make it 18 and move on. Loot crates literally are gambling but they look a lot less like a gambling machine UI than luck be a landlord/balatro. Imo the people on the other side are taking a single glance at a thing when they rate it and that's all it is

As much as it sucks for this great game gambling isnt just the "chance of winning money" – or at least here in the EU its viewed differently i think? When there is inherent "winning against odds" its gambling (at least how i learned the definition).

I can kinda understand were the purblishers are coming from though even though there are no stakes and you arent playing against other players it isnt the act of betting, winning, and losing that causes gambling addiction, but the act of gambling and the anticipation before you know the outcome as both winning and losing in give similar levels of dopamine. With how similar it is to solitare its kinda hard to seperate from gambling. There probably needs to just be a general rule of what you can have in a game because there are so many different games that have gambling mechanisms within the game and cause similar downfalls and I sure many of you know people that have spect thousands of games like 2k for packs and stuff of the nature. Its kinda just rediculous that there is such a double standard.
