  1. I couldn’t agree with you more, Mike. Staley’s ineptitude and lack of situational awareness will not only sabotage Justin Herbert’s career, but possibly RUIN it. Even before all the injuries, Staley and his equally deficient OC, Joe Lombardy have been systematically trying to turn Herbert from a potential generational talent to a Tier 3 game manager. Would love to see Herbert on the Rams under Sean McVay.

  2. Of course the young starting qb of a professional football team wants to be out there. I'd worry if he didn't say he wanted to play. But that's why there are coaches: to tell players what to do, even and especially when it's not what they want to hear. For the good of the team, the season, and the long-term well-being of the franchise itself, that's what a good coach does. And the great ones would do so even at the cost of their own jobs. It would suck to lose an entire season, and hopefully Herbert would be healed before that kind of choice had to be made, but even if he wasn't, wouldn't one lost season be preferable to a hobbled franchise qb for who knows how long?

  3. Yea, Love the channel but you and alot of other people are over hyping it. This kind of rib injury does NOT get better OR worse rather he plays or not. It simply takes time to heal. Him getting hit With or without this injury is bad. So I don't see your logic. Who would you rather have throwing the rock. An Herbert on pain killers or a game manager. If you say game manager. That's literally throwing your season away after all the signings this team made that you stated.

  4. Coach blames it on Herbert for staying in game. I believe that’s a bad coach who’s feeling pressure to win no matter the cost. Herbert needs to be protected from himself. Im a Chiefs fan praying for Herberts full and speedy recovery. I’m also scared Sean Payton will be Chargers coach next year! 😅

  5. Pull a Golden State, take out Herbert for the season. Get your top draft picks and build for next season. Not worth injuring him more when you can use this situation to get a top tier draft pick in an extremely loaded draft class

  6. Hey brother one positive to the bald head thing, at least you have a very symmetrical and well shaped noggin'. Got lucky there. It could have been bumpy and knotted up like some other unlucky people. Looking good.

  7. In 1994 Steve Young and the 49ers were getting absolutely blown out against the Eagles. Coach George Siefert took Young out of the game to prevent injury because of the lost cause of the game and their super bowl window. Steve Young got so mad on the sidelines that he wanted to literally fight the coach, and he was shouting insults at him and it caught the whole team off guard. The result of that was a demonstration to his teammates that he took winning seriously and they all rallied around Steve and from that moment on played like one of if not the best team the NFL has ever seen.

  8. Brandon Staley sucks and always has. They guy just throws shit at the wall and hopes something sticks. The only reason he's having any success is 100% because of the talent on the team.
