  1. The original upload immediately got wrongly age restricted, so I had to reupload. If you can spare a like to boost the video that would be such a big help. I almost never do sponsors but I really think this game was awesome. If you want to check it out for yourself you can find it here: https://nacon.me/Adinf_Insym

  2. late but with your yard if you can you should NOT rake the leaves up. Leave them where they fall. they're overwinter habitat for many types of insects like fireflies and they help re-fertilize the ground for the other plants.

    edit: (in french) leaves comment
anyway i don't know if this is relevant but rage used to be an old name for rabies too

DOUBLE EDIT: okay, you missed some VERY IMPORTANT THINGS in the final room before you went to the garden. It explains Paul was taken prisoner by the French and held as a POW, and that's why they thought he was dead the whole time.

  3. There were some things here that I think you didn't really get while you were playing – Paul went out and found Johannes tangled in the wire _and abandoned him_. It was supposed to be a big reveal that Paul betrayed him in such a way. Also Johannes was gay and I believe Paul ALSO betrayed him then by revealing it to the rest of the family that Johannes was caught painting his friend Christian naked in the attic – Christian goes on to deny it even to Johannes before his death and suggests that it didn't really mean anything and they were just "playing games". Johannes' entire friend group – the artists whom he wanted to do a shared exhibition with – are killed in the war. Karl basically disowns Johannes and Johannes wants to leave the home, says he'd rather go back to fight on the front than live with them. And their mother, when Johannes returns from the war, a changed man, she becomes obsessed with the idea that he's not actually her son. At first she is obsessed with these rituals to get her son back, presumably because he's initially mistakenly announced as dead – but then she believes the son who comes back is not her real son because of how changed he is, and potentially also because of the whole issue with his sexuality. He paints things that she finds very upsetting, when he's just trying to express his feelings about what he's been through. And yes, Paul basically gets their whole company killed. The call you could have listened to that lists all the names is all the people in the company, and if you had continued to listen it would have said Johannes' name near the end as well.

Oh I just realised the other 2 bosses were representative of mother and father 😮
The first boss being the mother who had to open her heart to loving her sons again?
The second boss being the father and the act of throwing the crown on the ground was him throwing his pride away?

  5. Honestly, this game would be so much better if it was a movie instead of a videogame.
    It's 2023.
The industry gone far ahead from what it was.
But, apparently, the developers are still thinking that it's so much fun groping around in the darkness for few hours just to have a short cutscene and a sense of pride and accomplishment.
The Longing did it so much better. While being so much more tedious. And simple.Hell, even Sublustrum/Outcry did it so much better despite being darn antique!

  6. Honestly, they could've ran this through some more tests: we are all so clueless about who the main character of this is (Johannes vs. Paul -and if we are Johannes, why do we have two animated arms?), and there are a couple buggy areas that could've been patched up. If they had sent this to you or other players prior to launch you could've beta'd it. They honestly probably did do this, but after fixing a few things, I guess they didn't test it again. Solid game over all, but wish I could follow more of the story.

  7. I just realize each chapter is a part of the family. The first one is the mother story and her trauma, the second is the day and how angry he was, and lastly the third is how his brother suffer after coming home. good stuff.

  8. Im in the middle of this playthrough and this game is UNREAL. It has sucked me in so thoroughly and I'm blown away. The AI mirror is a fantastic promotional touch by the devs, bra-fucking-vo devs, seriously.

  9. Im not sure if this is ever mentioned during the video but the one thing I noticed is that Johannes was gay, and we (Paul) caught him in the act with his guy friend Christian in the attic then ratted on him to our mother and father who also went up there to check. This causes a psychological riff between the two brothers and pushes Johannes (who was a pacifist) into fighting. In the middle we also find out his lover died before he did, which is why he starts to stumble and cry while he reads Christian's name listing the dead at his art club. He also tells us that he wants to escape to America with Christian and laughs when we Paul ask to join them, as we do not yet understand that this is Johannes's lover. This is why he is continually labeled a pervert by his peers and family
