The reason the US, for example, is able to run a huge debt is because of the dollar is the world’s reserve currency. They are the only country able to print their own money and not have it lead to massive inflation because there’s a constant, manufactured need for US dollars all the time in order to buy needed commodities like energy and food.
That’s changing though as the global majority rises up and are dedollarizing and forming new economic and political alliances like BRICS+, SCO, EAEU, etc.
