Thank you Raptor for featuring my game! Loved your commentary and world-building. You caught a lot of tiny details (yes, the dropship can "grab" containers and haul them around the planet.) And I appreciate your patience with the jank and bugs — I promise to improve everything, especially the UX.

4:55 Yep, game will be fully procedural. The demo uses pre-made maps as I'm still working on the map generator.
11:44 Nice shot! Yep, dice rolls (visible in battle log in bottom right) are not fudged at all. Pure RNG, for better or worse.
15:40 Units who have >1 AP will run away from grenades. It saves them, but they waste future AP. To stop them from running, try Suppressing to pin them in place. Or smoke them first so they can't see grenades flying their way.
20:41 You can pick up weapons or items dropped on the ground. (Or throw stuff from inventory to squadmates.)
25:33 Yes, the escape mechanic is exactly how you described! A lot of missions in the full game are "hit and run" where you steal equipment or research and run away. So I need a more intricate and tactical escape mechanic. Still working on it tho…
28:57 You can shoot the fence too to break it, which will make a new path. BTW you gave me an idea I'll add the option to "punch" fences to open holes.
30:53 Nice shots. Suppression is the most important mechanic in the game. You "steal" AP from the target and can pass it to nearby squad mates. You want to win the AP economy to win battles.

33:00 Yep, big asymmetry between the two factions Labor and Capital. With Labor you start small slowly building your outpost. You're always lacking supplies but morale is high. You also get unique mechanics like designing your own guns. With Capital, you have many bases and resources from Earth but have ever-growing quarterly targets to meet while fighting off the resistance.
