    I am disappointed because of the immature decision in priorities that they created this
    who wanted another M4 muzzle break? why was it nerfed into obscurity? what the fuck is BSG's priorities anymore?

    it's like BSG is pretending their game is out of beta.

  2. That's crazy. Seemingly irrational. I have long wondered why there wasn't a loud brake that at least approached meta. It should be worse than a meta suppressor, but the trade off should be increased ergonomics at least. I saw it and was like, "Fuck yes!" That's such a dumb change. 5.45x39mm has an equivalent. It's like they don't know how muzzle breaks work almost, if they are modeling reality.

  3. Final thought, I'm a recovering Warzone CoD player, and one of the reasons I quit was the randomly changing meta. Each week or more frequently, there would be meta adjustments. Part of the appeal of Tarkov for me is the modeling of real life weapon damage. What I mean by that is that the most important aspect of damage is the round, not the gun. CoD is entirely irrational in that regard. And when I started playing Tarkov, what was refreshing is that kind of any gun works to some degree, because, gosh darn it, bullets hurt. Wild concept for game designers these days I guess.

    While this change definitely sadness me, at least it's not weekly arbitrary changes for the sake of forcing people to swap metas.

  4. I don't even know why Tarkov has so many parts that literally are never used and are completely useless or EXACTLY the same as something else.
    "Realism" yeah but if anything it just takes up a bunch of space when searching for the actual useable stuff. Tarkov could get rid of half of their stuff and hardly no one would notice from normal gameplay.

  5. A muzzle break should do more for the user in terms of reducing recoil than a surpressor. Redirecting gas flow either vertically or horizontally for a percieved reduction in the guns movement after firing. Flash hiders don't even do their jobs either. A flash hider should reduce/mitigate the fireball it doesn't. #WeLoveTarkovRealism.

  6. I still don't understand from a gameplay perspective why going loud with guns doesn't get you more accurate/controllable stats but instead silent gun builds have superior stats making an already valuable gun build just out right the best choice.

  7. They just need to buff muzzle breaks period, both in effective recoil reduction and greater transparency in the muzzle flash, while reducing the increase a suppressor adds. The HK BLITZ, FerFrans CQB, Bulletec, Alientech should all be -13% or higher in recoil reduction. Throw in the Odinworks ATLAS 5 plus blast shield, the Griffin Armament QD Blast Shield and A2 blast shield, as well as the JMAC RRD-4C and RRD-360 with BDS-37 EXT to really round out the loud, cheap(er), but potent options. Some of these should eliminate most of the intense muzzle flash to begin with (GA QD Blast Shield and BDS-37 EXT in particular). I'm also sure there are ones I am completely unaware of but like, cmon BSG the trade off for being loud should at least be noticeable horizontal recoil, moreso than a suppressor. If you hear someone shooting an M4/HK/101/SCAR and it sounds like an autocannon then you should dread that fight because he's got a setup that is going to beam you across the map. It shouldn't be a dinner bell.

  8. The Problem right now is , that all streamers will play always the same specific "meta" gun. And BSG was saying that they dont want to see this anymore.
    Like giga has shown that thing was about 100k plus on flea because only the chads would use this thing. Its sad yeah because the community is breaking this game with only using meta stuff.

  9. it does make sense.
    i paid full price for a game where i'm subjected to sweatlords that have the time and money to use any build they want.
    making merchant items better makes up for those who have duties to attend in their life and playing games is their hobby.
    Plus as you stated is no use try and balancing stuff right now, it's beta test, give everyone a fighting chance to test actual features like sound, graphics, movement, etc.
    And i know it's been so long this game was available that most people think it's not, but Beta it is, and is us morons who accepted to be testers.

  10. When it comes to balance BSG is absolutely braindead, objectively. Suppressors + mb shouldn't be the recoil meta in the first place, nevermind that it's unrealistic it's also massively unbalanced because you get less flash/gas and massive sound reduction. So far BSG's way of "balancing" suppressors is to make them heat up comically fast and soon they'll have their own durability.

    The recoil meta should be loud and proud muzzle brakes and compensators, the obvious downside being flash/gas and noise. BSG could properly implement audio distance of gunshots based on muzzle device and ammo and even add a deafening/concussive effect from such muzzle brakes if not wearing earpro (SPT Realism mod does this).

    EFT really isn't nearly as complicated as people make out. When it comes to attachments there's very little to consider, mostly just ergo and recoil stats and BSG can't even get that right. SPT mods show that BSG is just incompetent when it comes to balance.

  11. Honestly ergo needs to effect more than just ADS
    It should effect movement speed and sway as well which would help substantially

    Furthermore I honestly think all attachments should be removed from flee that are not Abel to be gotten from a trader.
    If it’s FIR only it shouldn’t go on flee.

    Also BSG clearly has no concept of how to balance their game or play it at all. They’re pulling and I swear I never thought I’d say this GAIJIN LEVELS of staring at spread sheet data without taking into any account of human factors

BSG has no fucking clue how to balance their game, being loud is a disadvantage, a HUGE one, why should silencers not only be basically mandatory for how much better they are at concealing your gunfights, but also ALWAYS have better recoil reduction? Glad I quit this hacker ridden dogass game.

I feel so bad for the people who didn't quit this garbage game after all the expose on the hacking issue, I knew it was awful before that video, but like fuck, that was the nail in the coffin for me, beyond hackers I was just sick of their shit servers, balance done by literal monkeys, awful map loot nerfs, awful map design, awful lighting, awful fog, awful spawns, awful map performance on new release, awful 3 year existing bugs that come back randomly, awful map geometry (LOOKING AT YOU LIGHTHOUSE LITERALLY SEE THROUGH ROCKS AND INVISIBLE WALLS EVERYWHERE).

    STALKER 2 needs to fucking come out

  15. In my opinion, suppressed builds should be worse than loud builds at range. Maybe, even if they maintain the stupidly high recoil reductions, they have less muzzle velocity and reduce ammo damage at range. Or, they could force you to use subsonics to get the full quiet effect and thus need to actually think about ammo choices. That would at least give loud builds an advantage somewhere. Right now, loud is death, expensive, and subpar. Suppressors are god and need something done to them or the brakes to even the playing field in terms of usability.
