This is Why I Have Trust Issues in Tarkov

POV: VoIP gets introduced to Escape From Tarkov.
We’ve all had both friendly and weird encounters with other players through voip, but in this video, I’ll show you the most toxic encounter I had so far. And this is exactly why I have trust issues in Tarkov.

  1. You know what would be a very easy and simple solution to the VOIP trust issues?
The ability to lower the fuckin' guns.

    Hear me out.
We're all familiar with the arm stamina, right?
ADS eats it, why can't we get just a minor stamina boost when the gun is lowered?
Think about it, your guard is lowered, you're chill, you're lax, just abit more nimble than the average PMC because you're not holding the gun up 24/7.

But, say there's that common scenario of "Do I trust this guy?" in and out of VOIP.
Well, if you both players lowered the gun, it adds time, and it evens the playing field.
So if both players lower their weapons, and it turns sour, it becomes a semi-wild wild west gun slinging dual, who ever draws first, fires first.

If one player doesn't lower the weapon, the opposing player who did has far more stamina that the other who had the gun up all the time, meaning they're slower, catch my drift?

There's already an animation for guns lowered, it plays when you're pressed against a surface, it just needs a key to toggle it on-demand.

  2. That first guy, what a pathetic waste of space. Fair I'm glad you killed him and took everything you could.

On another note, I was talking with a few people about VOIP and betrayals, and the general consensus was that you have to be a special type of scumbag to betray someone. Especially after having gained their trust, and them genuinely wanting to be friendly and cooperate with you, it takes as special type of scumbag to betray someone just for a quick buck.

Some say to betray someone in a video-game where there are no social or legal repercussions, and when its done to a total stranger, is one thing. I'd counter however, that you have to consider all that emotional and psychological manipulation that goes into acting that way in the first place. Seriously, if you're willing to act like a scumbag in a game, masked behind the protection of a computer screen, just how much of a scumbag must you be when interacting with other strangers in real life. I'll be real with you, betrayal of any kind is toxic behavior and goes against every core principle I chose to uphold.

My last thoughts about toxic VOIP and betrayals is this; Nikita at the beginning of the wipe gave us a great opportunity to talk to one another, to actually communicate and have a legitimate chance for cooperation in-raid, and have memorable experiences when doing so. So why then would you want to ruin that experience, not to mention the legitimate chance of cooperating for better results than if you were alone, by polluting it with toxic behavior?

Sometimes I just have to marvel at how stupid, or lacking in basic respect or compassion, that some people choose to be.

  3. Hey bro. In the first raid per the narrative you spawned at crackhouse then went dorms but you extracted at crossroads, which is not open if you spawned crackhouse. Why do you lie to your viewers? In a video about trust issues and making fun of somebody lying with VOIP no less.

  4. I'm about to jinx my ass right now, but I've had some pretty damn decent VoIP experiences since patch. Sure, some knuckleheaded twat lulls you into a false sense of security, blasts your butthole. However, them moments have been fewer than most, it seems. Only time VoIP sucks the phat one is midway into the firefight and broski talks, and now my motivation for ATTEMPTING to kill has vanished.

  5. Great vid. I love the vibe and style from the editing to the playstyle…
Obviously unique but I also feel something similar to swamp fox, respectively. I doubt you two know eacheach other personally but whatever that(those) element(s) is(are) it gives genuine, diverse, immersive, and overall entertaining vibe that distinguishes content creators like the two of you in your own respective ways, and always keeps me on the look out and coming back for more.

Im super happy you Fair are back in the land of Tarky once again. Peace

  6. I don´t wanna be like biased ass or something but there are certain voices.. I like to call them "bitch voices"~ It´s like there are some people that open their mouth and you already know they are a cunt. It´s like in the "undertone" and the first guy.. he sounds like he is wearing dollar store fragence, gold neckchains and way too tight shirts~ if you know what I mean.

  7. Hardcore Tarkov player can hate on Dayz as much as they want, but to be able to frikkin raise and lower the gun, such as in DayZ, would add so much both to realism and more importantly to gameplay. Players constantly aiming at each other, that frikkin annoys me and I do bet it was a cause of so many killings. EDIT: Superb editing and good gameplay as always!
