Well Plarium’s track record for new content seems to disappoint a vast majority of players, so until they get on a run where the majority actually likes the new content, there’s no reason to think this’ll be any different. I’ve wanted live arena for this game for quite a while now. Idk why Plarium never asks it’s players what it wants, when almost every other game DOES! Has Plarium become so arrogant to think they know what’s best out of all the games in its genre? There’s a reason I joined the mass exodus a year ago. Because they don’t cater to what makes a good game great, it’s players. This game hasn’t had good qol… basically ever since I started playing 2 years ago. They think just cuz the game has the greatest quality champs, that’s the most lifelike, and aesthetically pleasing to the eyes, that that’s enough. It is in the beginning, but everyone gets used to that after a few weeks. There’s just no enough content in this game once you get far enough into it. That’s why I’ve found other games to play, which definitely all cater to the players. Is there anyone in here who thinks 1 epic book is an ultimate prize? I’m gonna go out on a limb here and say NO! The rewards for winning a tournament are the worst I’ve seen from ANY game. I can go for days knocking this game, so it better knock this live arena thing outta the park.
Well to me, it looks like you pick 6 champs. THEN you can pick 1 of your enemy’s champs to NOT be able to fight. Or maybe you pick 2 since they’re only showing a 4v4 scenario. Add on- looks like your synopsis might be dead on.
Sounds like they need you on there team
The 30 seconds thing shouldn't be a problem, I've seen a lot of people complaining about it being too long but if its like other games I've played with real time arena it will be a max 30 seconds but most people will know what they want to do so it'll take a couple of seconds, once you select your skill then the time stops and moves onto the next person, you won't sit there and wait for the timer to end. As for people griefing and waiting for the full 30 seconds to play there's not much you can do about it, its a valid tactic but I'd imagine most players won't do that. If someone is AFK and lets the timer run down then the game should auto play and the next time the timer should be shorter before it auto picks, at least that's what other games do.
That 30 second timer could also be similar to a timer in chess matches. You could have 30 seconds of manual control for the whole fight and if it isn't finished by then it moves to auto for completion.

Knowing the direction Plarium is going. This will:
1. Be for Krakens and Whales.
2. Probably cost high amounts of energy, which loops it back to point 1.
3. If, it is as you predict in setup, then people will put multiple of the same chumps so they can get the team they want… this loops it back to point 1.
4. Make it a must do in Advanced Quests, which will annoy everyone, except those in point 1.
5. Refer to point 1 for everything else they do in live arena.
So, you throw in an S tier champion that's not built knowing most would ban and you successfully hornswoggled your opponent.
30 seconds will be brutal. I was hoping for 5 lol.

I hope they don't intend to make this an always on thing… It had better be, at most, 5 battles a week for whatever quest they are going to set up for it. I am NOT going to do 10-20 of these a DAY on top of my other arena BS.
yay another pointless activity. People will exploit the 20 to 30 seconds per turn to the maximum. So you will spend more time to this game beside the time you are already spending fpr CB/FW/Arena/TTA etc.. The system sucked in Summoner Wars already.
I definitely agree that this would be one of the best formats they could use. The fact that they have said you will be able to see the champs blessing icons in the thumbnails, that will have a big impact on who you would ban from their team.
This will be as life is heading the haves and the have nots. You will require Certain champions, the games will take far too long and the rewards will be locked to those have nots the game will be skewed even more in favour of those happy to pay out while the people who pay minimal or none will find another game, this is for me the raid killer I dread
However, they decide to implement Live Arena. Just know it will be done poorly like everything else they have done.

Could be pretty Kool really, but to be honest it all comes down to the Rewards. If the rewards from it Are really good then I believe that it will be used and become a great new content to play
Appreciate the layout – but way too many questions that still need to be answered.
I am not going to be fodder for Whales, if Plarium doesn't fix the Arena Matchup system to be fair, I am not going to participate!
