  1. Thank you for reporting the facts about this medication. I have been curious about when someone would speak up to inform the public once again, there is no quick fix to weight loss. Over my lifetime I’ve seen miracle drugs for weight loss come and go. Some people get rich some people get sick and die. Can’t believe Oprah is advocating for this.

  2. Prescribing this for minimal weight loss sounds irresponsible and reckless considering the side effects and drug shortage. For many of us that are substantially overweight, though we are not type 2 yet, it’s headed that way. I’m hoping a very low dose of this will help me lose my initial 50 lbs and give me the support I need to make lifestyle changes and get some pressure off my joints so exercising doesn’t hurt so much.

  3. I can't get a straight answer for my scenario. I'm type 2, 62 years old, obese, and while taking Victoza, I didn't lose any weight, just maintained, which wasn't good for as much as I have to lose. The problem now, the shortage, has made it so I can't get the Victoza, and so my blood sugars jumped after having to go off of it suddenly due to this shortage. It's not a shortage (supply & demand), and they are just wanting more $$$, so Insurance companies probably don't want to have to pay out. The pharmacy had 2 pens, I could have gotten, but they wanted $500.+ for just 2 pens. I don't have that kind of money, so I have to find another way to drop my sugars. I guess, desperate times, call for desperate measures. Wish me luck.

  4. So unreal the “ fda” says no prob to all the poison in usa what a total waste of tax payers money . Worse than sending billions to terrorists for humanitarian aid that they just sell for pipes to make rockets and use it to barter for weapons disregarding their “ people “

I used for my platoo last 10pounds it worked sooo amazing, 2mo.. then I stop and I never gain back my weight ( however I learn that I can survive with 1 light meal per day and 1 protein shake coffee/tea/ water body doesn’t need much) I’m sure the grocery stores are furious with this new regimen..

  6. Irreversible damage from this drug and lapband surgery. These methods are all good at first but a few short years later you'll have Irreversible side effects. Better off being overweight and more healthy abd happy.
