would be nice to see a 90 degree m.2 to oculink adapter! the one you are showing in many videos seems very impractical. It's just a pity that there are such nicely looking compact products and they are connected by comparably thick and ugly cables sticking out at a 90 deg angle.
I wish the accessible m.2 slot was pcie 4, instead of pcie 3. still, awesome performance.
May I ask where did you get custom keycap for Nuphy Air? I want to get a good shine through keycap set but same color dark grey as the casing of the key board and Nuphy doesn't have it.
Why do you keep talking about hardware that we can't even buy yet? That's a bit unfair
Hi ETA, is it possible to use the oculink adaptor in an wifi ngff m2 slot?
Aliexpress always says for GPD.
I have got a good laptop, but without a dedicated video card
Great set up
which keyboard is that? looks cool.
The price$$$ for it is stupid just buy a laptop
FFS! ……buy a normal computer!
Question for you. On a budget (linux user but doesn't matter really) what do you feel is the best option mini or otherwise right now to start getting into PC gaming?
Damn
I’m hoping something similar to this card is in the next steam deck or rog ally. Be nice to play unreal 5 games 1080p fsr 2 set to balanced ultra settings 60fps! I think we’re about one or two generations away from being able to do that. Apus just need to upgrade the memory bandwidth on the SOC so many bottlenecks. That’s why increasing compute units doesn’t seem to do much
very cool video……..such a shame that gpd kinda dropped the ball on that egpu……..they could have used a pc video card instead of a laptop gpu chipset like rog did…….if they had used a pc sized chip set they could have charged a cpl $ more and still been wayyyy cheaper then rog
750 bucks for the 32Gb RAM version -thsts with the discount. Add the G1 in that's 1250. No thanks. Just get a 4060 laptop for 1000
The PC I upgraded to (soon adding GPU, maybe 2024) will be perhaps my last full size PC. With set ups like this is makes having a big PC unnecessary for most.
Kinda an unrelated topic but Honestly this needs more attention. The steam deck has a huge issue with getting a black screen where device works but the screen just doesn’t. Everyone on reddit is reporting this issue and all valve does is replace it than actually do something to fix this issue. I wasn’t lucky they wanted to charge me 145 to fix the deck even though it’s they’re fault for the faulty hardware.
This is gonna be pretty big. No consoles, no PCs, this little giants are here to stay
Thank you so much. now I need this setup more than steamdeck or ROG Ally
1:10 Major GPU Power 🫡
I just went back and watched the first video without occulink.
But I was like wait a minute. Yeah definitely should have used the V-Sync.
Because the frame times. With oculink is noticeably not as worse.!
Maybe the 4.0 port inside may yield better results. Which could have alleviated some of the Frame time latency.
And as always.!
Great video excellent review. 👍👍
Will it it support Linux, including mind port & docks?
O.K. and price with gpu + other stuff vs build same gaming pc?
Khadas, so it's gonna be expensive.
I would love to see you try and 3d print a frame which houses this, a power bank, a monitor and some joycons to make your own badass handheld
Hi, great video, any chance to add warzone 2 competitive settings to your test setup? I'm planning to buy multiple mini PC for my office and we do play after hours. We want something that can run without hiccups… But not to big.
Wait, hardware is keeping up and Exceeding the bloated software?
Wth is happening?
Is this the End Times?
Oculink, more bandwidth. Is it not possible on a Steam Deck / rog ally / many other????????? Especially rog for external gpu
