Bears pathetic always making wrong moves
Technically when you go out of bounds, you can't come back in and catch the ball, so it may not be the worst idea to stay out of bounds so the qb doesn't throw you the ball and get a penalty.
I mean clearly you hit the nail on the head. They hire a defensive head coach, who is going to rely on the offensive coordinator to run a good offensive scheme, but they hired an impostor OC. Exacerbating the issue, you have a rookie QB, that needs an offensive scheme that nurtures early success. The Bears should have already pulled the fire alarm and recognised they got the wrong man for the job and immediately fixed the situation. Else they are going to ruin another young QB's promising career.
