It crashes like neither a plane or a helicopter sadly. It is sad that so many servicemembers have died during the development and service of this aircraft.
They should really re-coat that floorboard. Exposing that zinc chromate and people walking on top of it chaffing it can throw those particles in the air for people to breathe.
Man I was there on Sunday during fleet week, and the ship wasn’t open for visit till Monday, but Monday was my last day in nyc and I had to choose whether to visit Brooklyn or go back to intrepid again. So I chose Brooklyn and missed the opportunity to visit these cool ships. Maybe next time😢

The Navy has had for decades a much more advanced VTOL air/sea/spacecraft that’s been classified but seen by thousands, what most call the “tr-3b” is a triangular shaped anti gravity bird able to rapidly accelerate to ludicrous speeds, and makes this Osprey look like nothing but a pathetic excuse of a distraction so you don’t recognize the really valuable and important fleet of far better VTOL craft.
