  1. 2 things: A) I'm not ENDING the show I'll be back in two weeks I just have EVO this week AND this thing happened I didn't think it was appropriate today lol. i'm not leaving rapping is too much fun. I'll be back the week after next. Maybe even next week if we make a deal with EVO to do one there!

    B) I turned off comment moderation and Youtube is still being wonky. If you don't see your comment give it some time. I think they're being extra cautious because of the environment last few days.

And also I saw somebody say I'm a fucking Biden shill. As If I didn't do like an entire video pointing out the advantages of him dropping out. They posted that ON the video I gave a logicial list of Pro's of him dropping out. And thats kind of my point: Our discussions are to the point where people are not listening to each other they want blood if their SPECIFIC worldview isn't reflected back and affirmed. This channel is meant to be a benefit to you in that it gives you another perspective which you can engage with, argue with, or act on. If you disagree with me then lets talk about it. This is a space where that is welcomed and where you may form a stronger argument or may understand how people challenge your belief systems.

All of those are healthy responses. But disengaging and straw manning anything I say into some weird political point I wasn't even making– is a net loss to why you would watch in the first place.

Also I did a Death of Slim Shady LP analysis and didn't get to post it. I'll see if I can get it edited so we have something fun to talk about in the next few days. Also EVO is next week. Love ya'll.

  3. I saw the news and immediately had a pit in my stomach. And yeah I honestly don't know what to say. I am legitimately worried about what is going to happen over the next couple months now. Stay safe everybody. Edit: Yeah I'm going to go play some God of war now because of that comment at the end

  4. I think my post got blocked. Okay, I'll say it like this. I want you to be right instead of me, but I'm very very frightened that you are not. Thanks for the level headed post.

  5. Seriously, all everyone needs to do is learn history, not just U.S history either. Unfortunately, it seems like history is repeating itself in the worst way, and it needs to be stopped right now.

  6. im in no way saying we should condone or agree with the violence
i do not crave violence i just don't feel like theirs any other hope today
and when your speaking as a trans person watching this that just happened is fucking scary. its scary because explaining to a cis person my biggest fear is being shot and that not being a crime they dont understand
m saying idk what to do here

  7. I really appreciate this take. I certainly couldn't grasp what happened yesterday and I'm trying to understand the magnitude that happened today. I am disgusted at what happened and I don't wan't to live in a world where this happens. I appreciate you framing the question as two binary choices because we're not in a good place in this country and any acceptance of violence should not be tolerated. Thank you.

  8. There is something called "The 50 year plan". The entire plan was filmed and released on TV many years ago. I saw it when I was a kid. Everything that was said about that plan has came true. They have been very open about the entire thing and no one is talking about it.

  9. Thank you, man. It seems like you really love this country, and really care about the people here. I appreciate it because it seems like a lot of people (both liberals and conservatives) on big political platforms don't give AF about this country and the wellbeing of its people anymore.

  10. I'm so sad and sorry for all of you. I do want to tell you that the whole world isn't in a terrible place. The US is the worst it's ever been, and I am frightened about its ability to recover. Failure to recover could have repercussions in the rest of the world. But while acknowledging it is terrible there right now, it's important to remember that people can and do live in ways that are not based in fear, anger, and violence. I don't know how you reach the people who seem lost. I don't know how you prevent those in power from hurting the vulnerable. But I do know it's critical to try. I also know it's possible, because other countries show it is.

There's a reason so many of Trump's followers respond to his lies that he loves them. They need to know they are valued even though their fear makes their words and deeds abhorrent. They will also lose if the country returns to its foundatiom of theft, abuse, and a value system that holds wealth as the measure of human worth. They must be faced as Darryl Davis faced hundreds of KKK members; with kindness and compassion even in the face of their vitriol. I know that probably feels impossible for those facing the hate. But Mr. Davis changed people's minds by reaching their hearts even as they brought their hate to the table. It can and must be done soon, or I despair for you all.

  11. Thanks for speaking on this in a clear and direct way. Definitely speaking to the chorus but it needs to be said.

Hopefully we can avoid anymore political violence, but I’m honestly afraid for what happens after Trumps next political rally. I know that the world will be watching.

And speaking of EVO hopefully I can catch up to you next week. Pretty sure I still owe you a game in 2XKO 😂

    Take care man.

  12. It seems like people feel that there's no way for them to make a difference through the actual legal channels and so all these jokes are them going 'this was our one chnace to actually control the situation', but to let them take your power away, to feel that disconnected from it, is exactly what they want.

  14. From what I've seen no Republicans have come out and condemned it. In fact they've done I think the opposite of blame the Democrats. You look a lot and say well oh Biden's responsible for this, or it's the deep state, etc.

  15. I'm Australian. It is common australian knowledge that we follow the US no matter what- we are all fucked. This effects us all over the globe. Stay safe everyone and please remember to take breaks from the internet and try and destress when you can- you deserve it.

  16. Imma be honest… I think this is more like inception, his dream is starting to dismantle. That was his follower, waking up, to he “trump” should not have this kind of sway in bending reality, and the reality is trump does not stand up to the riggers of “science…” period.

These cognitive dissonance followers, will eventually wake up.

  17. you’re being so vague. you’re conflating bloodlust with justice and political violence against politicians with political violence against citizens. trump has already done the latter and has plans to do it some more. you can’t even name a reason why the attempt was a bad thing other that “things might get crazy you guys!!”. i don’t know if you have noticed but the disconnect between the ruling class and the working class has grown exponentially and if you still think reaching across the aisle is going to get us change than you’re just coping. im not some crazy revolutionary but when the government doesn’t let citizens have enough control over their government this kind of stuff happens. you’re blaming a symptom of a failing democracy instead of the root cause
