1. I played DQM 1 and 2. So I was stoked that that this came out. It’s just a shame my switch is broken 🙁

5. I love playing this: feels like more heart was put into this than Pokemon SV.

   While some of the voice acting isn't great in the English dub and the issues with the Switch are still there, hoping a potential next game is better on the Switch successor.

6. Are you guys new to Japan's Dorakue obsession? Those numbers are par for the course for DQ in Japan. We need global sales numbers before we can even begin to rejoice.

7. The marketing has been lack luster for the game in the West and retail stores never even got physical copies of the game so I don't think the sales number in the US will be that impressive. As a big DQM fan I always talk about it and unless someone played a DQ game on the SNES they usually have no clue what DQM is.

8. Another huge thing is how much Dragon Quest fans love Psaro and Dragon Quest 4. They could not pick a more perfect character for a Monsters game.

   I truly wish for a Builders game where you get to play as Psaro the Builder. Plus a Dragon Quest 4 Remaster.

10. Super happy got this day one I wanted to get the deluxe version but moneys really tight but I can't wait for future games let's hope this means they keep coming to the west! Anyway keep up the work Ed ❤ ❤❤

12. This is all great and all but I'd like to see sale numbers outside Japan. Doesn't really matter how well it does in Japan if it flops in the west. At least when it comes to their plans for future releases in the west.

13. I'm so glad that the game is doing well. It really sucked not having access to the the series for like a decade. I hope we get more world wide releases for the series going forward.

15. My only massive issue was the post game for dqm the dark prince. Dqm has been a series with a pretth extensive postgame in every entry from the ds and onward. Dqmj1 didn't have too much but it did have the monster arena being stronger than the final boss and the monster dude who you need to show tge proper monster too and that was fairly difficult to do and if you did this you would get access to estark. J2 had an entire world that was post game exclusive, 2 in the professional version, and estark. J3 had randomly generated areas you could make in post game, j3 pro had an entire massive area as well. Terrys wonderland had several post game dungeons with powerful bosses at the end that you could eventually get, and finally coby and taras adventure had the ability to customize your monsters as well as estark and a simular randomly generated area system as j3. The dark prince had one small area with a couple post game bosses and that was kinda it. I thought we would get a dark world at the end of the post game and i was barley correct. And for the first time in the series since the gba entry, there was no way to gain any variation of estark throughout the story without synthesis which was sad. Estark had become a dqm staple so i was bummed to find out i couldn't get him without heavy synthesis. Some post game content in an update would be awesome.

16. So, also, from what I heard from a store near me after talking with their owner, their provider was very much understocked on the game for what they were selling. If I hadn't pre ordered I likely wouldn't have gotten my game anytime soon, and even then it took them almost 4 days to get the game in after launch. So I am very hopeful they they are having some large sales numbers for the physical releases alone, not including digital purchases.

19. Really wish future DQM games could incorporate better story, characters and world building just like DQ8 and 11 the mainline games.

20. i just hope if there is gonna be a professional version of this that it releases outside japan (whit trasnfer as an option ofc) as professional usually ads a crap ton of content and like double the monsters (no joke) i think it is such a shame already we dont get tot have the mcdonalds collab as the mimic and slime from that look really cool, also hoping for more postgame stuff as it is really poor its just 4 bosses and that is it then all you have left is the monsters that vacant the place which get stronger each cycle but give you very op skill scrolls such as attack 4 hp 4 and soem very nice offensive spell scrolls, mole hole was a nice addition tot he game and should be kept in future series as there is no worse thing that having to fuse a very stupidly long tree just to do it all over again for another fusion that requires double if not triple the effort

22. Now, I really want that Square Enix release DQM2SP in the west asap, it's literally the ultimate DQM game, with almost 1000 monsters, more skills, traits etc… And it's better than DQM TDP.

25. I've been playing since the beginning and for a long time I thought we would never get dqm in the west. I remember when I bought Terry's wonderland Japanese version and had to hack my 3ds to turn off region lock just to play a game that I couldn't even read… until someone came out with a fan made english translation of the game on emulators the struggle was real😅 I'm glad to see this positive swing in sales hoping for more
