With the trucks released, the convoy is rolling in Botswana. The environment and pace are an obvious challenge compared to other continents, and the team is dealing with the chaos of a hectic departure. The terrain is insane and the dangers of the African wild become clear. It’s evident that Africa sets the pace, not the team. They just don’t know it yet.

Watching the X Overland family enjoying Botswana is such a pleasure. The Chobe River and surrounds are a firm favorite for me. So far, this series is my favorite of all the previous travels that you have documented
Christof, Edward bath, et al must be laighing at the 'weak' non african build vehicles LOL
Amazing
I just wanted to say how much I appreciate the quality of your videos. It’s better than watching any TV show on Paramount+
Great job team!!!!!!!!!!
I commented on the first episode by welcoming you in my country and land, great second episode bud can’t wait to hear you guys at the end. Thank you.
Why are you guys calling Dingo an African wild dog? 😅
What a great video
I highly recommend Wynn's Nut Lock/Loctite for your bolts 😉
I am enjoying your trip immensely. About the loose bolts and fasteners, get some thread lock and dip the bolts and refit. I just came back from a trip where loose bolts and nuts drove us mad before we did this.
Amazing footage
This is QUICKLY becoming my favorite series you all have done.
Imagine, driving overkitted Toyotas, pretending you are on "Expedition" which ths is not, talking about dangeroous elephants, just to arrive to game viewig point, and park your super heavy duty monster next to motorhome 🙂like in 4:15 minutes in this video. Another exagerating video, without real atmosphere. And wow, elephants have trunk and big ears 🙂
Oh my gosh! What an amazing adventure. I can’t wait for the next episode. Thank you so very much for taking us along.
Wooooooow, fantastic and wonderful 😍
Had a chance to go on an overlanding trip this summer with @projectoverland and did not sign up. Now I am hating my decision Great video
Epic well done , Africa is very hard on Vehicles, in Africa you need a Toyota Hilux or Landcruzer 😀I do love the Taco more than the Hilux . Did you manage to go to Lesotho the Kingdom in the Sky . can't wait for the next episode. Happy Trails Justin Stark , Cape Town South Africa
Love these videos. Does anyone know what aspect ratio this is?
Good to see our continent through your eyes. We are blessed to have you as guests
Another epic adventure..
Awesome, love the videography. Agreed, Africa will set the pace, don’t stress so much about a schedule. Wellcome in Africa. Enjoy. Greetings, fellow Overlanders.
Beautiful shots, the camera quality and the cinematography is at the top level, wonderful job from the team. I cannot wait for episode 3 of you enjoying the Khwai, what a wonderful place.
Great series, and congrats on the 406 K followers!
When you wake up in the mornings, check for animal spoor (Tracks) you might find hyena, lion and Ellies walk right pass your vehicle where you slept .
Your music is the wrong music. You should be playing african music which captures the whole atmosphere of africa, not western music.
The narrator mispronounces words all the time. The last one I watch he had a problem with "respite" and now it's "quinine".
Loved it! Beautiful as always.
Pete is killing it
Loctite is your friend
Great videos from Africa !!!!
Such a great group of people and what an amazing trip/adventure! Can’t wait for the next video to drop.
A little bummed on the emphasis on the dangers of elephants. They’re wild animals, the last thing they want is to attack because an injured animals is a dead animal. They’re full of mock charges but if you provide them with an escape route they aren’t going to attack. Beautiful animals.
Any info on how you have the ID-5100 head unit mounted in the tundra?
Wow this series blows away the Nordic series already…great job!
Y’all need to get Loc-Tite as a sponsor so you can carry a bucket of it with you.
Next channel sponsor: Loctite
16:50 ???? 4LOW ???? You must have misspoke. You must have meant 4 High, for obvious reasons. If reason not obvious, then you are in trouble already.
You guys never fail to satisfy every single thing I want to see in an overland video, and you have the most wholesome content out there! Outstanding work ALL of you! You are all awe inspiring, and honestly you are why I got into overlanding years ago and it has changed my life. Cheers, and rock on!
Thank you fromkiwiNZ❤❤
Episode 2 and it’s so great that I don’t know if anything can top that episode, but at the same time I know XO series gets better and better every episode, so I am excited to see episode 3!!!
EPIC EPIC EPIC EPIC !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! "Overlanding pauses time" , Clay Croft.
Love it! Gotta love African roads 😂 Although I don’t think I’ve ever had to tighten everything every stop 😂 Can’t wait for the next episode. I love Namibiaand can only imagine what cool shots you got there. If you ever come to South Africa again and are in the Garden Route I’d love to show you guys some awesome spots 💪
A few simple suggestions, custom fabricated equipment will be far more durable, less bolts more welds, sounds like some loctite needs to be added to the tool box. Best of luck and thanks for the amazing content.
So amazing video
Seeing Peter's reaction and the look on everyone's eyes made me realize how blessed we are to have these close to what we call home.I have always been following the channel EFRT with Peter and i have clearly seen the difference and how each is unique.Epic show .loved the fact everyone had awesome moments with unexpected turn of events.
Love it!!!
