  1. I thought about this and originally thought it was stupid but, then I thought about how immature he reacted on social media in the OS so I could only imagine what he does behind the scenes. Just a young head with a lot of talent!

  2. It makes the cards look weak that they have bent over backwards for this guy. Took it from behind and asked for more. They are doomed for the next 5+ years

  3. But KYs reaction is exactly why the cards think he’s immature. Dude basically cried about them wanting him to study more. No one said he didn’t study or take it serious. They’re jus saying study more 🤷 they paying him crazy money early in to his career they should be able to ask that.

  4. I’m with Kyler all day on this one, hes played a a pretty high level since he arrived. If he’s doing this without studying or anything, he’s more of a beast than I thought. This is the cards, they’re going to alienate him and if they do it’s a return to the dark days of old. Blaming Kyler for that playoff loss last year isn’t fair at all, D-Hop was out, and Kyler was hurt the back half of the year. Defense let him down in that late season collapse, it was a bad look at the end of the Rams game but he’s a young guy….he’ll grow especially with all the flack he’s got over it. He was frustrated, and made a mistake but they weren’t gonna have time to challenge at that point anyway. Get him out of there and avoid the bad look. They need to find a veteran to help Kyler in those tough moments. Instead the Cards write in a ridiculous clause and risk losing the franchise guy before the ink dries on the contract.

  5. I don’t believe that Mahomes gets the same type of criticism as Kyler. Idek why he said that. Lamar gets disrespected, he could’ve said something but Mahomes literally is worshiped by his fans lol

  6. Doesn’t matter what position you should play you should always study film the best teams are the teams that study film an know their playbook not doing those will only get you so far

  7. I still believe he's immature and a cry baby.. reading the contract would have avoided even more unnecessary press. The guy doesn't take the business side seriously, he just wants to play warzone and let people take care of shit for him. He's supposed to be the franchise QB, get your stuff together. We put 18/19 year olds to work in the real world. You think those kids get special treatment? Kyler Murray is like my age I believe, I'm 25 years old. I don't get caught any slack if I display myself in an unprofessional manner. Him signing the contract is like the rest of us accepting offer letters for a job. It's not gonna kill him to read a little bit and see the damn study clause in there. We go over offer letter for regular jobs, looking at the pay and job description and stuff. Kyler has to be better and more on top of his business. His hobbies will always be there, he needs to realize his job won't always be there.

  8. Poutty face Murray. As others have stated there is a reason why he always plays bad second half of the season. Studying is important in school sports and anything you do if you want to be better then anybody else.

  9. Lacrosse goalie at a pro level might be harder than qb, because you need to know your opponents scheme and the skill of each of their players also while knowing your own defense and and slide pattern. You need to command your defense and watch the opponent’s offense and constantly adapt. And on clears, you play qb to get your offense moving. I am throwing out a possibility and not saying it is definitely harder than qb, but it’s up there.

  10. 4hrs per week of “independent study” for 230 mil doesn’t sound so bad… pay me that kinda money i’ll study 4 extra hrs on my own time… plus do all mandatory meetings and practices… i mean cards should’ve kept the clause because he did SIGN the contact…right? so he signed the contract, started crying, blew it up in the media and then got his fans to bully the franchise to drop the clause HE SIGNED UP FOR???? this will now just show future QBs it’s ok to bully a franchise to get what you want…plus while this shit goes on you got Watson tryna bully the league… da fuq is going on?!?

  11. This is a team in a league where the coaches and management know their players extremely well due to the investment and cost in their players. Bottom line is they know a lot more than you do and There's a reason that clause is in there.. Murray addressing the media about it means to me there's something there.. And yes, a Baseball catcher not only needs to understand every Pitcher on their staff but he needs to understand every batter on every opposing team, their likes, dislikes and tendencies as batters in the box.. Being a MLB catcher is just as difficult a position in professional sports.

  12. I don't care how good u are. You can always get better. Kyler thinks he has freak abilities that allow him to see things b4 they happen. He might have those abilities but watching film and studying the playbook would only help. Look at Tom Brady. He's the Goat. But he watches more film than anybody.

  13. The main Goal is to get a RING. If you had the opinion from the Greatest Legends like Peyton Manning, Tom Brady, Ray Lewis, Brian Urlacher, Luke Kuechly. They are gonna tell you Studying film is important.

He is young, they just want him on his toes to become better, not just a better athlete but a Legend in the future. QB are the most paid Athlete so what’s wrong with studying fill before games, that should be a priority same goes for all of the players in the NFL. They can choose not to study film that’s ok, but don’t get mad if they don’t pay you more and beat you for understanding your playbook.
