maybe this really is just the multitalented god of development, but I doubt he actually made all the assets, code and stuff.

Can 1000% see the Kingdom Hearts and Nier influence in this game.
Honestly? This game now has more my attention than Stellar Blade, after the demo of Stellar Blade for me is just a Souls Like Nier inspired game but THIS, THIS, AIkode is what i hoped for an inspired Nier game and to know that JUST one person made this gets me even more hype, i am gonna keep an eye in this game so Thank you Jared.
Note: don't get me wrong, i think Stellar Blade is good but not Nier enough for me in terms of Story and gameplay(at least for now) i was hyped for Stellar Blade in the trailers but after the demo it just looks like a Souls Like to me and i don't think that's bad but it does get kinda boring for me seeing good games just turning out to be Souls Like type games so i am hoping that Stellar Blade gets me hyped again becaue AIkode just suits what i like in a game: complex story and good gameplay free style like DMC and Nier

Kind of a mix between Nier and KH
Honestly I really like these videos, you giving games like this a shout out, for reasons other than them just being cool. This guy in particular definitely deserves the recognition here, but I think even the modders are deserving when they create something for people to enjoy. The premise of this game alone, giving all these psychological choices, is super interesting and unique. I'd be happy to see you follow this game on its journey, however long it might be.
I would be excited for this if it wasn’t for another game that was made by very few people. Lost Soul Aside remember that? Yeah still hasn’t come out yet after all these years. Even Granblue ReFantasy finally came out and Soul Aside didn’t? Don’t hold your breath for this née game

So this game is cooking. It's taking the meta elements from Nier and Kingdom Hearts, how fiction is taken for granted and such, and applying that to literally us, the players.
We're all in a box… not Schrodinger's box, but a literal box, a probably cube shaped room in a building, a shelter and privacy box, where we hoard/play video games, playing characters that die over and over again until we succeed, convinced that it doesn't matter because the characters aren't real, ignoring the very real inspiration that was poured into making them, and disregarding what message the people who made those things wanted us to take from it, because we would rather just argue over butts on the internet… like we're in an episode of Black Mirror.
That's deep. Gotta wonder where they're going with that.
And they say KH is confusioning 😂.
I'm honestly impressed by this games scale and quality given the circumstances. That being said, the story seems like ass. This guy is trying entirely too hard to make some wild and crazy meta story that doesn't even make sense from the start. The concept alone makes Kingdom Hearts story beats look linear. Everything is so unbelievably great as a solo project but I'm not about to sit through some mind numbing, arm chair philosophy, mind fuck. It's an annoying ass trope that needs to go away. When it gets this bad, it stops being philosophy and becomes this nonsensical babble that doesn't actually mean anything but the characters and plot are written to pretend it makes perfect sense. I'm not about it and I think it makes for awful storytelling. I know this is gonna be a great game but I'm gonna skip it.
I randomly came across a post from the Twitter page a while back and it looked so beautiful ive been a fan of and been watching its progress ever since. So excited, it was advertised as as Steam so i asked if it'd come to playstation later on and he kindly replied that it will come to all platforms
