There's no level cap I had the same problem some battles give you experience
The reason why I quit is the game ítem locks during trainer/ gym fights and the lv locking gets old fast
I don't really have a comment on the video this time, but I'm curious if you've looked at Monsters of Seabrook? I found the demo in the Nextfest and am about to take a look at it.
Level has cap it depends on your trainer level which only level up if you complete a quest, normal attacks don't have typing only the SPA(charge attack), same type pokemon in battle has passive benefits, all of these are told to you in trainer school which you probably forgot since you haven't played it for awhile, those web cocoons heals you if you attack them, ariados is hard even if you've the same level at is, same goes for gym leaders, the bosses is where strategy comes in because you can't brute force it
Try draft battles. They are sickly hard…
