This Game Feels Like a Ghibli Movie | Airborne Empire Review

A game which creates a vibe and atmosphere so cosy and so familiar while in an unusual setting, this is really what makes a ghibli project feel like a ghibli project. Strange and otherworldly while equally homely. Airborne Empire embraces this feel, this vibe so well. Afterall, piloting a floating city is not a normal experience but almost feels natural here.

So let’s take a look at Airborne Empire and the game that so enraptured me in the past couple of weeks.

  1. if i had a nickel for every time a huge nostalgia trip in the form of a video game is either dead beyond repair or severely underrated, i would have 2 nickels. which isnt a lot, but its weird that it happened twice.

  2. Nice review! I just want to add two things:
    1. The game has a demo and everyone can try it for free.
    2. This is the sequal to Airborne Kingdom, which is basically the same game, but without combat!
