Because she was ignorant of Conan's back catalogue, she found this podcast when searching for "needs a friend". And it just feels both beautiful and heartbreaking that she came to us in such a sad way, but what a joyful group to wind up with. I really, really adore this podcast.

This had comedic value in how ignorant she was of Conan's work and the fact that she wasn't/isn't even a fan of The Simpsons. But again, I must question the producers' personal criteria in choosing "fans" – in this instance which was this person being from Eastern Europe.
I'm French. I watched most of the remotes many times. I contend I am Conan's n°1 fan in France. Yet, he never visited our country. Instead, he prefered visiting Italy in various ways with his professional irritant. It says a lot on how much he wants to be connected to France 🙂
Starting at 2:25 they missed a great chance of riffing on these people Conan goes to dinner parties with awkwardly regurgitating facts off Google about him face to face just because that's all those people have to go by. I felt like that's where Conan's mind was going before Gourley and Sona interrupted him. I felt like he was building up to an impersonation of such people.
I watched Conan before Google existed.
