  1. Eu4 modders trying to do an alt hist setting without a strong Al Andalus or the Kingdom of Jerusalem challenge (impossible).

Now in all seriousness this looks pretty cool

  2. Hey spears,

How long ago was this? I'm doing a research paper.

I was also wondering if you would please respond to my latest email about correspondence and accreditation for sourcing in this research paper, I need to make sure all references are in Chicago 1921 format so please respond back to me as soon as possible…I think the due date is Monday the 1st so if you could just reach out I would thank you wholeharpedly. Speaking of which, how long did it take you to play the instruments at the beginning of the video? You don't strike me as a harp playing bard, though with enough payments and fieldwork I could see it becoming so.

    Anyways,

  3. PSA: The alternate history scenario presented here is one of five bookmarks in the actual 1356 mod. The other four bookmarks are based on historical dates (starting from 1356 naturally). This bookmark is based on, and named after, an alternate history mod for 1356 called "Barbarossa's Throne".

  4. Might be a surprise to some but despite the Yuan dynasty having Mongol origins, they have very much converted to the Han Chinese culture despite oppressing the Chinese majority. Most of the Yuan rulers have Chinese names, collect Chinese styled currency, ruling from a Chinese city with Chinese laws and bureaucracy, using the Chinese language in their courts. Such is the fate for the northern invaders of China, with the Qing being the most aggregious case since there is so few with pure Manchus in China, even in Manchuria, as most of them interbred with the Chinese who migrated into the region when it was under one empire.
