  1. Gotta love it when your gameplay is interrupted by a software update notification…
Are you sure they're separate towers and you're not actually just teleporting the whole tower?
Yeah, you had a load of unassigned talent points left on your team. What happens to those when you fuse?

  2. Dude I love your videos and I've been a fan of you for a long time. DQM the dark prince has the potential to be at the very least the best monster taming game of 2023 in my humble opinion. I'm so glad you're continuing the demo walkthrough/first impressions, I actually played 30 hours already😂
Some cool things to look out for in the game/do:
    1) in the second area of the game you can sometimes find L(arge) skeletons and scout them. Then fuse 2 large monsters together and the offspring fused with another monster will most likely be large as well! Large monsters first of all have different traits/better ones than small. And if you see the trait "Tactical Commander" it allows your monster to have 2 actions in a single turn which is insane!
    2) There's actually an awesome video on YouTube showing you all fusions and what you need in order to create them. Which also acts as a "demo Pokedex" because we don't have access to it by official means. The user is called Mark Angelo Gaming, highly recommend his videos!
    3) Lastly I'll suggest some epic rank f monsters to try and fuse!

Hunter Mech, arguably the best physical attacker you can have in the demo. Combined with L(arge) size and Physical booster IV you have a beast on your team!
Succubat has zammaister and great wisdom/agility it's a must if you want your Kazamlle to destroy everything with low mp cost.
Cloud Surfer gets access to both zap meister and wooshmeister so he's a pretty cool dude.
Hammerhood will make your life so much easier with scouting because of his seethe ability.

That's the basics I wanted to share with you it was a pretty long message I know😂

  3. I put 15 hours into the demo. It's so long and has so much to do. For a moment I thought they had accidentally released the full game and called it the demo. Lmao! It's awesome! Can't wait to play on Dec.1!!!

  4. I've been desperately wanting another Dragon Quest Monsters game for the longest time. i've put so many hours into the demo because I think it will allow you to keep your party when the game releases. So I've been just crafting up some monsters and setting them up for the game's release. Im more than likely going to no life this game for a long time.

Honestly I dont know if they have this but they should have trading, fusing with friends monsters. Etc. Because I think that was something they had in the original games but future installs just had battles. If it doesnt have this capability then they are missing out on a huge opportunity because there is a certain allure of being able to show off and merge/trade monsters with your friends to help each other obtain stronger monsters.

  5. I spend way to much time leveling monsters up in the demo to fuse them but here some things I found(extend to see, all of these are out of memory):

All the stat boost skill trees can be ranked up two times(by getting them to max points). The first time you just get more level ups to unlock and the different stages do not give more stats, but the second time you will get bigger stat boni per stage and you will also get two skills relevant to the stat skill, one in the middle of the tree and one at the end (at 200 points).

The magic related skills like fizz-, sizzle-, and so on skills can be upgraded once (also by getting them to max points) to an -avicionado skill (for example fizz avicionado) that will have much more powerfull spells in them, I do not believe that they upgrade again but it is hard to level beyond 20 so I did not really try everything.

I have not yet found any combination skill trees, be it either for something like simple stat upgrade combis (combining a str tree and a dex tree into a str+dex tree for example) or for the spells (combining fizzle tree and sizzle tree int a fizsiz tree), I belive both of these combination methodes were avaiable in older games so I hope that they are either just not in the demo or that I failed the conditions for them somehow.

Skill trees with specifc names seem to have no upgrades for them.

I belive the points you need to reach the highest skill are a good indicator for that, if the skill points necessary for end level are below 100 then you can be sure that an upgrade is avaiable, if they are above but still close to 100 it seems like upgrades are likely and once they reach 160-200 it seems like upgrades are not a thing anymore (it is also hard to reach 200 points in the demo so that might not be rigth).
Another good indicator for stat upgrade trees seem to be having a non stat upgrade at the end of it
