  1. had a good LOL at the case dimensions comment while unboxing this one… here's a fun one for you: I'm currently running a XFX Speedster MERC 319 inside an original Meshify C… suffice to say, it's such a snug fig that I actually use a 120mm front fan as a brace to prevent GPU sag. (:

  2. Some pointers to this case:
You may get Problems with the GPU cooling with Highend GPU and some Games, the Airflow is in direction of the GPU not optimal even with the optional bottom Fan. In Raw Numbers to comprehend with the Corsair 6500 X the GPU runs 20°C (!) cooler.
The Fan ARGB Hub is somehow okay but only if you use BeQuiete Fans. With ARGB you will have Problems because it only works as V1 and with any other Fans the lightning is asynchron and you wont able to fix it. So you have to buy a alternative Fan / ARGB Hub. Also you cant mix fans, the RPM only let you register one (1) Type of fan speed and thats it. So you have to hub up one fan type on the hub with the exact same rpm/diameter etc. or things go wild.
The vertical option, keep in Mind that you HAVE to remove the MB to change the direction, this can be annoying because the frame is some mm to long and you cant remove it without removal of the MB. This is just bad design and with just 2mm less on the Frame it would be better.
Also a Bracket holder cant be installed because the screws are to short and also the frame is bad placed, especially when you look at the older versions.
Dont get me wrong its a good Tower, especially when you want to go for costume cooling and have a lot of space but if you dont want to throw like 700 bucks for costume loops and such stuff you might be annoyed by all the small things.
For me the Corsair 6500x works better, throw the stuff in it an get better Performance. sure a bit more money but if you look at it you may spend more money to fix stuff that comes with the corsair tower.

If you want to go costume cooling this wont app because you have the space for radiators, fans and so on and may get better results. I cant see how you can do this with the corsair tower because their is no space for this stuff.

So you have to decide, how much you really want to install, not hypothetical but for real, for costume stuff you might not care about the money and this is a good tower for this. if you dont want to do this just buy something else because you get annoyed and just get a mediocre result.

  3. Internallyits not too dissimilar to the Pure Base 500, externally its a 500FX with LED strips in a different layout.

I got the 500FX because it came with 4 quality fans. By the time youve purchased a cheaper case and replaced the shitty fans it works out to the same price as buyijg this.

  4. Hey Jay! I just found something maybe you can do a review (it will be a budget testing – Lian Li copy.
Teucer JM-1 they look to have the exact same ideas and look but less expensive. probably going up after you doing a review 😂

  5. Love my case…a "Lian Li Lancool II MESH Performance" with magnetic/hinged tempered glass on both sides, magnetic top filter, and magnetic/hinged bottom doors on both sides; for full access to shrouded PSU and rear cable routing, etc. It came with 4 fans (2×140 + 2×120). Best part, it was bought used for $38 (locally) and is in mint condition!

  6. I bought the case for my Strix gaming E Wifi and the 14700k with the RTX 4080. I installed your suggested Razer RGB hub for this purpose. So I can control all fans via Razer and case, water cooling head and RAM, RTX 4080 and other lights via BeQuiet Hub or Armory Crate. To the disadvantage of the hub. With a 280 water cooling system, also from BeQuiet. mounted on top. and an additional fan at the bottom that also brings air into the case. So, 4 intake and 3 out. I have 29 to 34 degrees at idle at 780rpm (82.4 to 93.2 F). I didn't connect the fan hub to the CPU but yes, they all spin up but you can simply connect the fans you want directly to the board. But I didn't do that. It does not bother me.

To say, you can control the lights on the case or via the RGB header, all you have to do is press the reset button for a long time, then you can switch between hub and control using the reset button. It offers a lot of space in a "traditional" case and it is very well made. I really had a lot of fun building the PC. If I knew where to send pictures, I would show my setup so you can get a picture.

  7. It looks great however at the price I will stick to my GameMax DS360 Infinity and put that extra £100 toward crucial components. The quality is obviously going to be better with fans but the rgb is whatever and I would be transplanting my own fans from my previous case. For a new build using the fans and wanting the gimmicks this case is a good shout.

  8. I have purchased the Cpu cooler and the Power supply from BeQuiet and I can honestly say this company only produces quality stuff also never had fans this quiet in my PC they are the best in my opinion

  9. Since I bought all of my PC components and later ran into the issue of having not enough CPU Tower cooling clearance, I am a beginner builder, therefore messed up about 2mms of clearance, whereas I had to buy me a new case, which I didn't want to do at first.
I had to find a very big case in order to fit my noctuah cooler, now my initual impression was, that I wanted to get the be quiet 800 dx, but it had smaller only 180mms of cpu cooling clearance and the Pure Base 500DX had 190mm. I went for the Pure Base 500DX my system is working fine now, but seeing this HUGE CASE in that review, makes my heart shatter 🙁

  10. Thanks Jay, it would be cool to see a full build with new case or product reviews maybe themed or color match i.e. white case white mobo, white gpu, etc. Appreciate the content!

  11. I really want you to talk about, or do a pseudo watercooling setup. While you can imagine and see what to do in a case, once you start building in a case, you start realizing what is missing. Even doing a random assortement of putting a pump/rads/components will help a ton with how good a case can be in the worst case (custom water cooling).

My case was one of the best cases for watercooling, and the thing that wasn't seen was how little cable space between the powersupply and pump location.

  12. Personally have the Pure Base 500 FX and was super impressed with the build quality and ease of building in it (first from scratch build). Also had the 4 light wings fans which makes the value great, and it fits a 4090 with room for the cable bend!

  13. Maybe it's the time to get one of those static electric discharger. I think it's just a resistor? I really want to try sticking one leg of a resistor with my hand touching the other leg to the bag and see if it works. I can't do that here, it's humid as hell, we don't have shocky problem here.

Formula 1 cars, explained for rookies (with Max Verstappen)

These are more than cars. They’re science experiments.

I love Formula 1. This isn’t just a car race, it’s a massive group science competition. Ten teams are all fighting to be first, and on every team there are hundreds of people, spending millions of dollars, all working together to push technology to its limit.

In this video, we’re gonna show you what it takes to build and drive some of the fastest and most expensive cars in the world. We’ll give you rare access into a factory in England where they build these cars and into a garage in Bahrain where they race them. This is Formula 1 cars, explained!

One note because it’s important to me you never be confused about what is paid for and what isn’t: Oracle comped my flights, but didn’t have any say in the editorial and didn’t see the episode before it went live. The Red Bull F1 Team did not pay me, had no say in the editorial, and didn’t see the episode before publish either. Everything I say here is entirely my own.

  16. Greetings, sir. I hail from India, where the summer heat easily climbs to 40 degrees Celsius. I currently own an R5 5600X paired with an RTX 3070. Despite watching numerous videos, I opted to stick with the stock cooler provided with the CPU. However, due to the high ambient temperatures in my region, I encountered temperature issues. Some individuals on YouTube claim that a 240mm AIO cooler is excessive for the R5 5600X, but I suspect their environments have lower ambient temperatures influencing their opinions. Could you kindly advise whether an AIO or a tower air cooler would be more suitable in my situation?

  17. Thank you for the video/review but I like it more when a case review goes along with a build in the case. I know its not always possible but pure case reviews are not as interesting as a build that you look forward to seeing done.
