  1. i havent played a cod since mw2019 and zombies truly since bo3 because I didn't play much of bo4. I just don't understand why they had to do all these changes to zombies. I understand the changes from bo3 to bo4 because fine they were trying to change it up a little and remove the crutch perks (even if it was a terrible idea) but why and how did they go from bo4 to cold war zombies. did anyone ask for that? I was always under the impression that people who played black ops played zombies equally as much as the multiplayer, I never thought that it was a way smaller community, so why did they appeal so much towards the most casual player and make it so easy and similar to multiplayer? I can't even think its because they are appealing to a younger community either cuz when me and my friends played black ops 1 we were kids too.

  2. BO2 and B03 are not part of the classic era of zombies. The classic era of zombies is defined by the necesity of using the mystery box for survival to acquire good weapons and the wonder weapon, these would be WAW and BO1. Then there is the buildable era consisting of BO2 and BO3, the shield (which was copy pasted from Multiplayer) was a massive step in making zombies extremely easy by having complete invulnerability from behind and other buildables made certains maps incredibly easy and is true for almost every map. In fact in BO3 spamming the box is a sign of being a noob because the best weapons are either buildables or wall weapons and risking the box moving and the beginning of fire sale spawns wasn't worth it. And calling out Cold War for adding crutches is dumb cause the game that introduced crutches was BO3, in fact if cold war had the buildables from bo3 instead of the killstreaks the game would be significaly easier. Then there are the alternate ammo types, if you told zombie fans back in WAW that the next game would allow your gun to have different ammo types that could clear an entire hoard they would have thrown a fit, these ammo types are so powerful that they outperform many wonder weapons. B04 doesn't belong in an era because it's own thing and then it's the Current era also known as the Cold War Era. Also I think the field upgrades should stay in the classic mode but without any augments, what broke them in the first place were the upgrades in Cold War they are fine in their base kits.

  3. This mode would literally save and bring back the og and lovers of old zombies pre bo4. But the fact that activision/treyarch has been so quiet about it makes me doubt this would happen. Because this announcement would cause so much hype before release makes no sense why they would keep it so quiet

  4. imo buildable's were always lame peak gameplay walking around hitting f. Gobble gums should have always been mutations set before the game in a perfect world. Gobble gums were always a OP loot box in disguise I still like them in a way but people forget it's straight up a pay-to-win loot box system.

When it comes to the points that you made with what the classic mode should be I agree with you on everything except a few points loadouts should not be removed they don’t actually take away from the experience if anything they improve it anybody with 2 functioning brain cells or more than that knows this the other points is that you should go down without jugg on 3 hits but you should go down with jugg on 6 and the last point is that the perk limit should be 6 not 4 in order to improve on the experience other than that treyarch should listen to any other point that you made bc you hit it on the head

  6. biggest evidence of the classic mode really going back to basics is the gobblegum machine, dont you find it weird that perkaholic and sode fountain are in this game but remember that cold war has no perk limit?

    it just would just make these 2 gums pointless

    unless

    classic mode introduces the 4 perk limit again
