You watching the Beginning of this made me realize that he clearly never played Dark souls before. While Bloodborne can transfer over in some regard since they are soul-like games. They both have clearly different playing styles. It is mainly 18:32 where it hits the hardest, he equips his casting talisman, uses it, and doesn't even realize that he cast a heal spell. It's honestly hard to watch and then realize he doesn't know a damn thing about magic since Bloodborne doesn't have magic, other than the arcane tools that use silver bullets, but still.

It's VERY clear that he's only played Bloodborne and not any other souls game before this. He basically never touches his shield (at least 40 minutes in) and speed rolls out of everything.
