  1. Im curious that Earl was not mentioned at D23 expo returning (a fan favorite you'd think would garner some cheers). So its the whole cryptic non-announce game. Will Earl come back after all? will it only be a window? I thought all that empty space was supposed to be the public open space in the concept drawings. The building they want to put in was supposed to be against the monorail beam (backs to the beam).

  2. I was in the park last week and noticed the lamp was gone. I asked at the courthouse and they assured me that the lamp had been replaced for maintenance and it would be back. Given that they have been doing rehearsal runs of the Walk In Walt’s Footsteps tour, that makes some sense. I’m sure they want the lamp in tip top shape when they re-open the tour.

  3. The lamps in Walt’s apartment is nice. Again it is not the original one so no worries there. I think the new lamp is lovely and seems to be in theme with the decor. But I have to say if they ever did away with the lamp completely that would be a very sad day indeed.

  4. the Treehouse looks like the tree house from Moana with the Coconut Pirates….Wonder if that's what they're doing? After all, Moana is set in the South Pacific (fits the overall Polynesian style of the land) and next to Pirates of the Caribbean, so the transition between lands would be perfect.

  5. We were in front of Tarzan’s at closing two days ago. The night time security guy told us that Tarzan’s treehouse is going to be Tarzan’s tree house again, but that the bridge is being moved to the opposite side. We talked to him at about 12:20 AM after getting off pirates. He may have just been talking but he seemed credible and said he has worked security for years. Super nice and friendly talking to us. He may not really know but just thought I’d share.

  6. Porto’s definitely announced they will be in downtown. Yay! I don’t have to go Buena Park when we visit the park- love their pastries and breakfast. Hopefully the Tarzan treehouse will stay if not.. oh well! Another great episode Dave 👏🏻👏🏻 thanks much! Freshbaked!

  7. Those new stanchions have to be another exit option for guests that have stuff in the lockers during parades. That backstage door to the right of the locker rooms will give them an easier way out.

  8. In re: Hotel name changes (approx 6 minute mark). We were in Disneyland in the summer of 1989, staying at the Emerald of Anaheim hotel. About our third day there, we had gone to Disneyland, but were walking back to the hotel in the afternoon when we noticed the signage had been removed. It was now the Pan Pacific. Luckily, our key still worked. We did stay there some after that, when it became the Disneyland Pacific, but haven't been back to that specific hotel (whatever the name) in decades.
