  1. I used to go to Disney world every year for 20 years. Small things bothered me like changing the intro to the fireworks show from
“Ladies and Gentlemen Boys and Girls” to dreamers of all ages. Then Covid hit, when Disney opened and charged the same price for half the experience, I was more annoyed then genie plus and lightning lane. It’s like Disneys trying to squeeze everything out of everyone before they sell.

  2. ♻️ As for the Key to the World Card: it seems like Disney could offer guests a small Disney Gift Card to Recycle their card at the end of stay (or just put a small credit on checkout bill)…Disney could wipe the card’s data and re-use it. The vast number of these cards probably end up in the trash and with these being issued across resorts and cruise lines, it’s a huge number of cards.

  3. We've come so far since WDW opened as far as tech. I remember people being awed by the two way video system to make dining reservations in Communicore and outside Guest Services.

  4. How common is the theft of cars or thefts of/from strollers at WDW? My father is worried about bringing his scooter because he thinks it will be stolen. I hope he doesn't see this story or I'll never hear the end of it!

  5. We use the keys as our lightning lane and tickets as well. So in the end they are basically forcing you to buy the magic bands as the app on the phone does not always work.

  6. I'm in Orlando for my cousin's wedding and there's something very funny to me about watching WDWN, in Orlando, while having no plans to actually go to Disney.

  7. I agree with you on how Disney has changed their shifting of the problem from them to the guest. Back in 2010, when we arrived at Caribbean Beach at 3PM and were told we could not check in due to computer issues, they gave all 6 of us park hopper passes for the day. Granted, it was already 3PM, but it was a great compensation. We were able to finally check in at 8PM.

  8. The Walt Disney Company is deep in that negative downward spiral. It's going to be nearly impossible for them to pull out. MickeyViews has a great breakdown of WDC's last earnings report. MTC

  9. Disney is no different than any place else. Keep your head on a swivel and watch your pockets. Especially at open market places like Disney Springs. And on the transportation. If your on a bus and you're standing, watch your backs. Ladies, watch your bags. Some time ago, I lost $400.00 between a park and our room. Bus was packed. People were bumping into each other like crazy. Can't say for certain it happened there, but when we got off, it was gone. Lesson learned..

  10. Here is a thought maybe since the US parks subsidized and did without for the construction of the foreign parks, perhaps now the foreign parks can help out with the shortfalls in the US parks.

  11. totally agree on the room key issue. They are losing sight of their vision, on this and many other issues, as an organization and that loss is impacting the experience negatively for many.

  12. why on earth does disney need any k9 mickey mouse security unit at theme park? if they need one, they should just request for an actual law enforcement k9 unit to be sent over. oh wait. its the park in california. yeah, the police are too busy to show up.

  13. I’d prefer less AI and more audioanimatronics, deep theming, and well-paid Cast Members. That’s what makes a Disney park for me. But I am an old lady and Disney likes to write us off so…

  14. Thanks for everything you do guys fortunately for me, there still is a Disney outlet here at the Tanger in Myrtle Beach and you do have to buy a bag if you want a bag for your purchase not sure what bag they’re giving out now

  15. Coming to Disney to steal. Glad that piece of trash was caught. Also, that dog bite is unacceptable. I hope it gets put down and he wins that lawsuit. It's extra terrifying to be that old and injured. Of course disney won't offer thst poor man monetary protection either

  16. I actually always wondered about unattended strollers. I feel like they would be such an easy target… someone walks over, pretending it’s their stroller, acting like they forgot something. Bam, stolen items.
