San Diego Comic-Con, often referred to as Comic-Con International: San Diego, is a world-renowned annual pop culture convention held in San Diego, California, USA. It is one of the largest and most influential fan conventions globally, attracting enthusiasts and professionals from various entertainment industries, including comic books, movies, television, video games, anime, and more.

The event was first held in 1970 and has grown exponentially over the years, evolving from its origins as a gathering of comic book enthusiasts to a multi-genre entertainment extravaganza. Today, it is a massive celebration of all things related to pop culture, drawing in fans, celebrities, artists, writers, and industry insiders alike.

“Biker Mice from Mars” is an animated television series that originally aired in the early 1990s. It is an action-packed sci-fi comedy series created by Rick Ungar. The show was inspired by the success of other anthropomorphic animal-based cartoons, such as “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles,” and it gained a dedicated fan base during its run.

The storyline of “Biker Mice from Mars” revolves around three extraterrestrial anthropomorphic mice from the planet Mars: Throttle, Modo, and Vinnie. They escape from their war-torn planet and crash-land on Earth in the city of Chicago. Upon arriving on Earth, they discover that their arch-nemesis, Lawrence Limburger, a malevolent plutocrat, and his bumbling sidekick, Greasepit, are wreaking havoc in the city.

The mice decide to become Earth’s defenders and take on the personas of cool, leather-clad biker heroes. They ride motorcycles customized to suit their Martian origins and use their exceptional combat skills and high-tech weapons to combat Limburger’s evil schemes.

Throughout the series, the Biker Mice form alliances with Charley Davidson, a human female mechanic who becomes their ally and helps them in their quest to protect Earth. Together, they face various intergalactic villains and encounter other alien species, all while trying to find a way to restore peace to their home planet, Mars.

“Biker Mice from Mars” gained popularity for its action-packed sequences, humorous dialogue, and colorful characters. The show showcased a mix of sci-fi elements, biker culture, and comedic storytelling that resonated with audiences, particularly among fans of action-oriented animated series. While the original series concluded its run in the mid-1990s, it remains a nostalgic favorite for many viewers and has seen occasional revivals and adaptations in various forms over the years.

  1. Hey, Dan, you remember the movie Small Soldiers? Well, someone's making a new one, and it's not DreamWorks, the company that made the original.

I think you might like the designs for the characters, since they're toys.

  3. I used to have vintage versions of Throttle and Modo's chopper bike! Do I wish to someday get that same chopper bike again when it's released next year someday? DEFINITELY! 😀

Especially I did watch this on TV during the 90's when I was living in Singapore (indeed a lot of U.S. cartoons were aired on that time too).

  4. Oh no way!! I commented on your earlier vid (the tmnt one) that I wish NECA did a Biker Mice line but here we go, not NECA but Nacelle? Very excited. Though looking, Vinnie has a bit of a vacant stare sadly, no expression. Hope they can address that.
