The Royal Family were again ducking for cover from another barrage of ‘truth bombs’ from the Duchess of Sussex this week. Meghan gave an extraordinary interview to US publication The Cut, which the Daily Mail’s Diary editor Richard Eden believed amounted to a series of ‘threats’. ‘What was notable about the interview was no so much what Meghan did say, but it was what she didn’t say,’ he told our royal programme Palace Confidential. ‘She made a series of very unsubtle hints that she could say a lot more in the future. It seemed to be clear that they were threats. She was coming across as saying, “I can say these things, I’ve chosen not to.” She even dropped a hint by saying, “I was keeping a daily diary.”’ He adds: ‘The timing, as well – on the eve of their visit to Britain – it’s really shocking in so many ways.’

If Meghan did a Dora (her Mother’s stance) she’d be in a far better position. I think she was yet to understand as black woman you still need to “know your place in the UK!” We has an American understanding of what it means to be black. Being Black in the UK is a whole different ballgame. I have close black African American relatives so I know. There is a better chance to rise in the US than UK as a black person.
Where’s the proof that young girls, especially in America, look up to and admire Meghan? Where are they getting that impression? I’m a young woman from around the same area in California that Meghan has lived in for most of her life, and I’ve literally never met or know of anyone who feel that way about her. They either dislike her or couldn’t care less. Just because the media says it doesn’t make it true. I know she has supporters but why do they assume that there are millions more of them than the amount that follow them on social media? And what makes them assume what their mean age is? Or that the majority of them are from America?
I’m constantly hearing about how popular and loved she is here, but no one ever says where they’re getting this information or how they know that. Because from everything I’ve seen, that just doesn’t seem to be the case.
It’s just like how popular wokeism supposedly is with Democrats, and Liberals especially. It’s reminiscent of hard-core Trumpists. Their loudness makes people, and even the Trumpists themselves, assume that there are way more of them than there actually are. To the point that they couldn’t understand how Trump could lose an election, even though it’s a fact that Republicans hardly ever win the popular vote and that they only make up a small minority of the population. It’s the same with wokeism. They take some of their views just a little too far for a lot of us. And they’ve taken a few so far that they’ve become ridiculous, even nonsensical, at time. I still don’t understand why women who’ve always presented themselves as very feminine and girly, are now demanding that they be addressed as “they/them.” How does that make sense? I can think of a lot of men, women, boys and girls who’ve never been either overtly masculine or feminine, but that couldn’t be further from the truth for most of the celebrities who’ve announced their they/them status in the last few years.
The public has seen this vicious, vindictive woman's lies and attacks. Her latest remarks and threats about having more to say about the RF come as her popularity begins to wane, and suddenly, oh my, she happened to dig up her " diary" at Frogmore! I sincerely hope everyone sees through the new lies she spews when she tries to publish that foolishness.

I don’t think you can really steal the royal “tinsel” as they put it here. For example, where I live in the US Catherine is often referred to as “Princess Kate” (like “Princess Grace”) on magazine covers, while Meghan is just “Meghan Markle” or sometimes the duchess of Sussex. People see her as a celebrity, basically. She can still make tons of money, but she’s not seen as a royal, she’s seen as a victim of the royals, if anything.
