The whole Hit man thing is based on a true story as in the CIA tracked a man that looked like him for years in Austria and it turned out he was literally him (to some agents) and was very much alive. Which explained why Russia never let anyone test the “remains” there is declassified documents u can take a gander at. There is conflicting stories however CIA and the FBI all have concluded that it was possible however unable to be truly confirmed due to the fact well Austria wasn’t going to totally admit they smuggled him in and they can’t just walk up to a random dude and threaten him because he decided to shave his mustache in a all be it unpopular but still semi popular trend in Austria. In all it’s a good conspiracy with some merit and very interesting how they did wire tap this guy and watch him like a hawk but could never determine his identity because he never once said his name or occupation or talk to anyone really important. Just thought peeps might thing this is interesting lol
