  1. How can you have a filler episode when you only have 8 episodes. Also with the lightsaber thing, they can read minds now, they'd only have to read her mind to find out she didn't do it.

  2. Ooh, ooh! My favorite part was in episode 1 when the flawless, heroic gay Lezbean non-binary queer trans person defeated the evil, oppressive white heteronormative cisgender birthing person with the bonus hole! 😂

  3. Mey(?) can use the Force, can't she? Sorry, I mean the "Thread". Her fingerprints not being on the murder weapon shouldn't matter much since she could've just been holding it with the "Thread".

  4. I think if they brought in a Korean actor, he should have spoken in Korean and be given subs … like Greedo and Jabba got. His struggle with the language was as distracting as an actor with a giant lump on top of his head.

  5. think maybe that mae swithched in front of qimir because she has sussed that he is the master and has manipulated him into killing kelnacca, therefore kiling him without a weapon, still hoping it gets better, they have done a preety poor job with so much available material

  6. Just want to say if it's not the OT no star wars fan will be happy and y'all are judging before you get the whole story it could be a slow burn can I ask what would be a good sw story to you

  7. Weird thought, but if the plot is making x too obvious the bad guy so you have to assume he’s a red herring, but he ends up being the bad guy, is that actually a twist we didn’t see coming?

  8. I heard all i needed to know when one of the actors stated "Aniken Skywalker killed millions of people when he destroyed the Death Star"…WHAT¿!? The same actor said, "there is no good and evil in Star Wars!" WTF. The whole canon is the triumph of good over evil! The Rebels defeat the authoritarian Democratic Republic by allowing the individual to rise above greif and desperation.

  9. Tyrinth(sp?) did you like Andor?

Also. Squid game guy in the Acolyte…as far as I know he's Korean and they're making him speak with a Japanese accent. It sounds like he's trying to imitate Ken Watanabe.

  10. I can't help but think this whole series is meant to be an attack on traditional Christianity. It's obvious that the Jedi in this show is meant to be a stand in for the Church

  11. Shad none of the writers are familiar with Star Wars. They are writing with pop culture knowledge.
Overall they hate the IP…and now, in this present time, they no longer hire talent. So the people writing are a bunch of talentless, bitter BUT DIVERSE hacks.

The green lady is most likely the Sith apprentice.

  12. the scene with the bug thing annoyed me the most, because it's like the gun on the mantelpiece analogy, if the gun doesn't go off in the play don't put the gun there or the audience will be disappointed, I was totally waiting for all the other bugs to wake up and attack them and there to be a huge fight

  13. Mystery Men training scene: Hear the Words of Wisdom from the Sphinx:
"He who questions training only trains himself at asking questions!"
"Work well on your new costumes, my friends, for when you care for what is outside, what is inside cares for you."

  14. 25:24 Surprised you guys didn't pick up on this. It's just another way of making the aggressor the victim and the victim the guilty person, same as "that poor girl" line from earlier. It's follows a theme where people should simply accept bad people doing things do them, and the victims should feel sorry that their own actions caused the aggressor to do what they did, like the jedi guy swallowing the poison because he felt guilt for something or another (white guilt). The message here is that self-defense is unjustified. Simply let bad people do whatever they want, because they are the victims, and their crime is justice for whatever YOU did wrong. So bad people are victims, victims are guilty, aggression is justice, and self-defense is violence.

Also watch how the big bad evil baddie who can effortlessly fight 8 Jedi will be beaten by 1-2 untrained women or a Padawan.

  15. GUYS.. @15:10. Take a moment to overhear two women meeting up for a social connection (eg lunch or catchup). They do exactly what you describe. They talk past each other and do not listen to the other person. They get a moments sense of what the other persons topic is, and that's enough for them, any data or information conveyed is "mansplain" stuff.
I have tried this with several women, followed up by a basic fact check conversation later, and the listener has none of the information, despite saying they had a great chat and great to talk to the other woman again. They both hold their own conversation and don't listen.

  16. @16:06 nope. That repeating things is how women speak to validate each other and perform an acceptance rite to propagate that persons value and recognition. Most men don't do this, which is why women often "feel unappreciated and un-valued by men" because men don't do this parrot your validation ritual and instead expect listening and achievements instead. (Indeed if it is unknown information that isn't just context then frequently women "feel attacked" or "undermined/undermining my value or confidence – especially if the man expects an answer to an unknown or non-obvious thing; thus the need to stick to known things so the other person can feel important). Many men on the other hand seek out unknown information or detail that can't be picked up from cues or context, or supply what they expect is unknown (interrupt me if you know this…) and the thinking and reasoning that is behind it, which is why they are accused of "mansplaining" because the premise was already "heard" and "had been aired within a speech gap" (which is what women do – they give space for a person to make noise [recognition of importance] and to demean people, they prevent that space to make vocal noise.

  17. When i think of the appearance of a Jedi, i see Luke Skywalker entering the Palace of Jabba the Hutt on Tatooine, fearless and coool… or Obi Wan in the whole SW 4 a new Hope, fearless, always prepared and coool…

What happens to the stuff that captivate me once when i was a child?! Sad to see it all get destroyed by an unhappy, little selfish but untalented brat.

  18. I wonder is this episode is the part that's suppose to be a Leslye Headland metaphor?

The part where Mae decides after helping her boss do some not so good 'things' for years. Has a heel-face turn and immediately decides to throw him under the bus to the authorities due to the dirt she has on him, thinking the authorities will take it easy on her despite being an accomplice in said acts?

''Well younglings, YOU… are going to join with the force. ''

  20. I also think that the guy is a distraction. I think they'll go much more cringe way. The sith is May. Split personality…
But then again I'm not watching, just guessing based on reviews and this feels like a shiz they would do

  21. The funny part. "It's not made for you" "kill the past" "force is female" but when we stop watching we are toxic just by not watching 🙂
So it's both not made for us but also we have to watch it cause it flopping is racist and sexist

  22. so im "Neurodivergent" and its been the easiest watch of any series ever, there is such little plot and constant stating of the obvious that i dont even have to think about it, its atrocious, there is nothing that forces my brain to think, its literally as if it was written by my stupid brain
