  1. If it takes me an hour to get the $87 fine removed because of a technical glitch on your end, I'd be sending them an invoice for the time I spent troubleshooting their system. And if they don't pay, I'll send it to debt collections, have their credit score take a hit.

  2. So they pay,
They have the credit card receipt.

Then the collections says that’s not good enough?
    They want a receipt.

Only the machine didn’t give them a receipt.

Now the company is saying that’s not their fault!
    What?????

    It’s YOUR machine.
It is your fault if it is not serviced correctly.

    Take me to court.
I have my proof I paid.
Now prove to the court I didn’t.

  3. I wonder how much Communist Comrade (AG) General Phil Weiser is receiving in campaign funds(pocket money) from these companies?
Like most Communists: "You can run your ripoff, but, I need to get MY CUT"!

  4. I think it's a designed glitch, one that would net a huge profit because people won't bother to fight it, so it's a win for the company especially having an 'out' to label the issue as a glitch, brilliant money-making scam! let's piss off a bunch of people and make bank, then we just fix the glitch and no one gets in trouble! Assholes.

  5. This happens All the time in Seattle. One yr I took my daughters to the museum in Seattle & paid to park in a lot. This was about 25 yrs ago so I had the option of paying in cash by putting the money in the box & putting the ticket it spewed out on my window. Months later I got a ticket for my car

  7. Fair Consumer Act/Fair Debt Collection Act will eventually be reversed in the next few months to a year. It's a shame too. More and more of our rights will be taken away. Be careful, because you may not have a leg to stand on. This is just terrible business!

  8. Had a similar thing happen to me when using a private parking building in Auckland, NZ. We pre paid online for a parking a spot for an event and wife placed the print out reservation on the dash as they was required.
Unfortunately we got a fine from them about a week later for parking there even though we paid in advance, displayed the reservation print out and they had our vehicle registration.
The only dropped it after they realised we were not going to pay and take it to small claims court where they had recently had decisions go against them.
We always take a photo now of receipt when we use any parking.
