To locals, the Well of Barhout is known by an entirely different name – to them, it is the “Well of Hell,” and the legends surrounding this moniker are not something they take lightly. In fact, many consider it back luck to even speak about the well.
According to locals, the well is a place of unexplained disappearances, where people seem to simply vanish into thin air. Many believe that objects near the hole can actually be sucked toward it.

  7. There are plenty of places that have some more stories, including in the United States in death valid. There is a cavern. It has water in it people have been noted to go into explorer. There are legends about the place that it is a place of death that there are mysterious people according to Tales told by the natives I said natives OK it’s relative the point being that what we do know about the place is that like the place you mentioned which I’m not even gonna try to say because I’m handicapped and I have enough problems with voice to text it often does not put things down the way I want it to so if this makes sense. Oh well I’m good and if it doesn’t I’m sorry I cannot correct it. I am handicapped as I’ve mentioned twice, my pointers most of those have similar tales and they’re documented some of them. The ones in Arizona were bodies have gone missing and never gotten back out and that has more to do with the fact that where there is water or even flash flooding is a possibility which in a desert environment there are times when it rains the rain fills up places like that well as you’ve mentioned, and the water flows in and then slows out, people have been known to get caught in these places, and then washed somewhere far away from where they started from, it happens all the time in certain places in Arizona anyway, that said based on the looks of the walls where the stalactites, etc. are and certain other mentions the fact is it is a area where there is volcanic activity where there’s volcanic activity a lot of things happen, such as gases that have horrible smells Some of which is sulfuric and that has to do with the rotten egg smell. It has to do with the trapped gases underground and there are other things as well. I’m not gonna go into the whole details but I will put it short and sweet in Cyprus, and pathos to be precise. There is an area that used to be used by the oracles of. I think it’s Venus don’t quote me and they would predict all kinds of things. The reason being just like that place has a reputation for gassy smells and weird smells and weird things happening in weird visions the same thing in they have tested it out there is apparently a vent to a underground probably a volcanic belt belt belt. I’m sorry I’m losing my words are ready anyway point being that these women would sit near it they didn’t have the gas and then they would make predictions some people later on man fall of Rome etc. they claim to have seen things there, these things happen when you’re near certain areas where there are toxic fumes, and frankly the air in question leads me to believe that it falls into the category of certain underground volcanic areas much like in Arizona there are areas where there are vents if you don’t have any other word, and that’s because in Arizona, there are three silent volcanoes The same in Cyprus where is an area where there is an undercoat underwater actually volcano not off far off from Cypress answer, events or common factor and this is why I’m saying the whole gas and everything doesn’t surprise me the fact the bodies were never found human remains were never found is obvious people stay away from it when was the last human body if it’s more than 30 years ago when was the last flash flood you can do the math on this, so I am not entirely surprised the fact that there Somebody sent down a I don’t remember the word now it’s lost again to me one of those things kids would like to play with him flies. We have to understand a bit about geology to be able to make out certain minerals based on the pictures you showed, and the fact that it may have in the past have volcanic eruption‘s in the area means it’s probably that near or is on top of eight vent as for why you don’t find the bodies is probably for the same reason if it’s a vent, then they’re probably deeper in the soil than you would see on top and if it’s had flash flooding as it happens in the desert and a water fills in and then flushes out. I mean why call it a well otherwise then it may be that they were flushed away hundreds of miles away I mean the only way you will notice is if sometime in the future you put a chemical ball a little round seer if there’s still water there sometime in the future, put it in there and let it flow and if there is no water, then that means that the stream is dried up like they said that happens to there are places where that doesn’t happen at all anymore but like they said, not surprising what people don’t understand they have to give an explanation for. And belief can make things happen good and bad I mean I imagine that in Mohammed‘s time or maybe even later that when the local king or chief did or somebody didn’t like somebody, he may have just tossed them into that place figuring that throwing them down and bottomless pit, which that’s what they probably thought it was would be the end of them and if by some miracle they did survive because the water if it was filled with water at that time on the off chance, if that was the case, and somehow they did survive. They have a hard time getting out of there and that’s the point isn’t it what better way to P keep locals from instill fear in them if they are afraid and you’ve got them if you were the local sultan or the equivalent thereof

  10. Was the House of Ashes game based on this? It featured an underground city with bat-like humanoid creatures flying out at sun down with long after picking apart soldiers who fell down into the tunnels. Fun game.

    PLEASE HAVE TO STOP CONSTANTLY pretending that Mohammad knew something divine because he was some “prophet “.
    Self claiming to be prophet is absolutely meaningless and worthless.
    Thousands and thousands called themselves “prophets”, and yet, many of them showed to be nothing more than evil lying garbage.
